A writing partner?

Hey everyone!

I'll be straight to the point.  I'm trying to write a book this summer.  I want someone who can help me edit it.  Well, ideally, I want someone who would like me ot edit their work, too.  Someone who has either been published or is seriously working towards being published would be ideal.

I adore editing. I am nowhere close to being published as a writer- I'd prefer to be an editor, actually.

Editing is a lot of fun :) I think it strengthens your skills as a writer, too, which is why I'd want to help someone else. Plus, I feel like its a burden on my readers to ask them to correct the work, and they seem to get nothing out of it other than the enjoyment of reading...

Do you write at all, though?

I have been trying to write but it seems like all I accomplish is world-building. I'm happy with my characters but I'm not entirely sure what they're going to do- I used to know, but they're changed some.

Would love to hear what you think of them :3 I'm only about half way through the first draft of my novel, so it'll be several weeks before I can release chapters good enough for people to read and edit
