ENTRY FOR THIS MONTH
I've been at this for more than a month... its times like these i wonder where all my time has went and now i look back and i can see where... lol.
ZOOM KOBE II :
Kobe Bryant is the type of player that never quits. His understated success is related to his inability to recieve the MVP award. That was the reasoning behind my design. The understated swoosh that is incomplete says something about Kobe's career. One the other hand I took the inspiration from Kobe's fascination with motorcycles and tried to create a forward movement. In other words, no looking back and whatever has happend in the past for Kobe, the future still is bright. This is true with his deal with Nike and the KOBE line.
BLACK NINJA: I also took inspiration from a Ninja. I thought of Black and Silver with just a touch of red for bloodshed. Kobe's name comes from a Japanese dish. With the attempt to link King James into the Kung-Fu mix, I think a Ninja and Kobe have a lot of similarities. They can attack at will, they find their way through the cracks, and most of all they are deadly. Lethal to be exact, and quick off their feet defying the laws of gravity.
