My Passion

Everybody has their own passion, some share, some choose passions the TV show... and what not... lol

My passion for shoes dates back to my childhood stretching from my dad and brother's passion for shoes. Being thoroughly involved in basketball, I always looked forward forward not to playing, but to getting that new pair of shoes that I'll be using for the season. Did it make me play better??? HELL NO!!!... but it sure did make me feel better, and part of a team more. I remember my first pair of serious kicks with an air bubble, the Nike Diamond Fury, which were actually baseball shoes, but I used them for basketball. I loved the new smell of shoes, the feel of the leather, and the creseless look of a shiny new pair of kicks. It wasn't long until i became so infatuated with my kicks that I began to start drawing them at the age of 6. I started by just getting out a piece of paper and pencil and best as i could draw the outline. That soon became my window into pencil drawing and shading and pencil crayon. Around the age of 14, where my passion for Air Jordan's greatly increased, I began to wonder what if I could design shoes?...

What became a hobby is now my sould passion as to what I wanna do with my life, because every time i see a blank piece of paper, I feel like drawing that shoe. I start with a line. and that line defines the rest of the design.

Today, I was bored... i busted out my new Prismacolour markers and pencil crayons... and started again... this time... with kobe in mind... this ones for a competition... but my start seems like a pretty good one... I then took that drawing to Illustrator..

This design represents Kobe's game in that it being complicated yet versatile and represents "beautility"

The upper is comprised of 1680 Ballistic Nylon accompanied by a Thermplastic Urethane (TPU) that overlays the whole upper and up to the ankle for upper support. The midsole uses Nike Air Zoom technology.
