My Gecko Laid an Egg!!

Yup, Lois laid her first egg. Apparently Cassie came home to find one egg in the case laid I guess on the 22nd. It is in the incubator now. the substrate wasn't quite as moist as it should have been by the time I got home to check it out so I fixed that. Hopefully the egg is still good though, I hope that it didn't dry out too much by the time that we got everything taken care of. I guess only time will tell. It usually takes anywhere from 45 to 70 days for one of these eggs to hatch so I hopefully will have a new little baby gecko in about 2 months from now. I'm excited. Gotta give Peter his congrats on being a new papa. I actually got to watch him shed last night too. That was pretty cool, he was peeling his own skin off and eating it. Thats natural for him to do for those of you that don't know. This is the first time that I've seen him do it so it was interesting to me, I should have taken video of it. Anyways, I'm back til Sunday morning, give me a call if you wanna hang out.
