Inauguration Day
So today is Inauguration Day. I just felt like saying something quick that I know my opposite party friends did eight, and four, years ago.
When Bush was elected President, and then later Reelected, I would see a lot of Demo's whining but one of the key things i'd hear them say was, "that's it, fuck it, i'm moving to Canada." And I'm not just talking about people saying that on message boards (though I remember a bunch of posts like that at comixfan in the politics thread) but also in person. But you know what? I've yet to hear any Repubs say that same thing. I almost want to put a bet out that, in four years if a Repub take office again, that Demo's will once again say "I'm moving to Canada!"
I didn't vote for Obama, but hey he's my President. I will support and honor him for the office that he's in. I may not, hell I probally will not, aggree with a lot of what he says, but he's still the man in office. He's our President, and I wish him the best.
