So after 3 1/2 long years, i'll be discontinuing my T-Mobile servie. I've been using the same exact phone since I joined T-Mobile, and I just need a new phone. Can't really afford to pay for a phone, so I thought i'd check out T-Mobile's upgrade list. There just wasn't anything worth it there, and that would include a 2 year contract. I've called the last month or so to see if they can help me out at all, and all I get is a no. I've been out of contract for 2 months now, you'd think they'd do whatever it takes to sign me back up. I guess it's just easier to sign up someone new then keep someone old.
I even asked them if I can just end my account and restart a new one getting the new line deals. They said, "I'm sorry Mr. Toner, thats not how it works." I told them just about all my friends are on another company, and the best they can do is sign me up for My Faves (call any 5 people each month for free) but it'll cost an additional $10. That was the last straw.
So i've now joined Cingular. My new phone came in today. It's the w300i phone, the walkman MP3 player phone. I paid $100 for it, and i get a $75 mail in rebate in a month.
