happy fifth of july
tran has officially left for canada. i think she has to speak french the whole time shes there. at least shes supposed to. meh, well see. i miss her late night conversations. i hope shes doing alright. dont turn canadian on me.
last night was independance night. i fell asleep at 8. i didnt see a single firework while it was dark. i saw a few while i was grilling my familys fourth of july meal, footlong hotdogs, but thats it. oh well. that was cool though, foot longs. i enjoyed them. we had an american dinner. hot dogs, mac and cheese, baked beans, corn on the cob, and watermelon. it was good. i was miserable after that. thats why i fell asleep at 8. i couldnt believe it. oh well.
i talked to katlyn yesterday for a good while. shes a really cool girl. i would love to meet her in person. i have a feeling her parents wouldnt like me though. hmmm... i wonder why. we have really fun random convos. you gotta love them.
2 days until cassie comes to visit. i cant wait. ive been excited and it hasnt dropped off at all. been counting the days. yeee. still excited. hurry. oh well. i guess it will be here soon enough.
last friday i went out with dan and amanda. war of the worlds, coffee crossing (twice as long as the movie), water front park. good times. after that, i went to providence and played the guitar for a while with meghan, erin, staci, and jonathan. then we went to the mount and looked at the stars. it was tres amusant. i had a great time. that was a good night. some good conversations with tran too. hmmm... ill leave it at that.
my cars name is officially brandy. shes being very nice to me right now. i like her. i got her new front speakers. $145. meh. polks. they sound good. i feel good when im inside her... i know, i meant for it to sound like that.
on saturday, i got up early (before noon) and went to earth and fire with tara. then we ate at arbys. good stuff. things are better there. later i went golfing with my dad. that was a lot of fun. i treasure the times we spend bonding like that. that last hole was great. lots of fun.
seven days until ncaa football 2006. thats right folks, only seven more days that you will be able to talk to me. just kidding. kinda.
i think thats about all that is going on in my life right now. kinda boring but im not complaining. i like how its going right now. plus, i guess things are picking up soon anyways. pretty good life. good enough for who its for. thats it. peace,
