Title: Pajama Problems
Author: Me! (2theChangmin)
Pairing: Eunhyuk/Donghae (hints at others)
Rating: PG-13 (for language)
Summary: Eunhyuk had problems with Donghae’s pajamas. He hated them. Why? Well, because… he had his reasons. … Okay: the things were evil! … Yes, that’s right: evil.

Brief oneshot for spikesvampbaby! "Happy, happy, very happy birthday!!" I hope you like it! This is my first time actually writing Eunhyuk/Donghae and not just hinting at them! ^.^ *happy* And, I hope this was what you wanted. Again: HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! XD

He hated them. Those damn pajama bottoms. Blue and well worn. Surely they must be extremely comfortable; they looked it anyhow. And he felt silly and stupid and completely childish for hating such a thing. Yet he did. He hated them.

Maybe he wouldn’t hate them so much if Donghae would just stop wearing them. Okay, honestly, Donghae wearing them wasn’t really the problem. Donghae wearing them outside of their bedroom, was.

The man wore them all around the dorm. He wore them in the kitchen during breakfast, in the living room at night while watching a movie. He wore them like it was no big deal. And maybe that was what Eunhyuk hated the most; the fact that his boyfriend was completely, utterly, and innocently unaware that he shouldn’t be wearing the damn things outside of their bedroom!

Eunhyuk still couldn’t fathom just how Donghae hadn’t noticed the two inch hole above his knee, revealing to all the world (or all of their members anyhow) the soft skin of his inner thigh. Or why he’d kept wearing them when the elastic at the waist had stretched and, instead of hugging his stomach as they were supposed to, they barely hung on to his hips; looking like the slightest touch could have the material pooling at the man’s feet. The rest of the cloth seemed to have gone the opposite way of the elastic and, after so many washes, shrunk just enough to put emphasis on certain areas. Eunhyuk simply didn’t know how Donghae hadn’t noticed the poor condition his pants were in!

The other members had noticed. Trust Eunhyuk on this; he had glared at them enough for constantly checking out Donghae’s rear end every time the man turned to leave a room. He actually snapped at Kyuhyun last week for starring at Donghae’s thighs for an indecent amount of time.

And okay, maybe it wasn’t completely their fault for noticing because it was kind of obvious but… Seriously, did they not have any manners?! Better yet, did they want to die?! No. Wait. Better even than that: How the fuck had Donghae not realized that those pajamas were evil?!

Yes: evil!

No: he didn’t think he was over reacting, thank you very much.

They were evil. And he knew it. How? Because, sometimes Eunhyuk believed that Heechul was evil. Okay, most of the time really. He still loved the man, but he was convinced his hyung more often than not was a wicked fiend (at least to him). Now, to his way of thinking, only something so evil as those pajama bottoms could have made someone as evil as Heechul stare at his boyfriend’s behind for so long, completely untroubled by Eunhyuk’s attempt to burn a hole through his head with his ‘stop starring at my boyfriend’s behind’ glare of doom!

... And yes, that explanation was perfectly logical!!!

“Ahem!” Eunhyuk cleared his throat loudly and obnoxiously in an attempt to get Heechul’s eyes off of Donghae’s derriere. It didn’t work. Seriously, if Heechul didn’t stop starring at Donghae’s ass Eunhyuk was going to throw his fork at him. “AHEM!”

“Are you okay?”

Eunhyuk blinked and looked over at Donghae’s concerned face sticking out from behind the pantry door. “Oh… uh…” he glanced at Heechul whose eyes were now on his breakfast. Well… good then. “Yep, I’m fine.”

“Alright then,” Donghae smiled before turning back to look for whatever it was he’d been searching for the past three minutes.

Heechul was starring again.

Eunhyuk’s eye twitched.

See? Those pants were evil. He needed to figure out a way to get rid of them. Hm… but how?

“Donghae…” Eunhyuk began later that morning when the two of them had finished breakfast (Heechul had finished first and was thankfully not in the room any longer to stare at his boyfriend’s bottom as he started to rinse off their dishes).

“Yeah?” Donghae asked, turning off the faucet and turning around to face him.

“Uh…” he licked his lips nervously. Why was he nervous? … Yeah, he didn’t know either. “Those pajamas are pretty old, don’t you think?”

Donghae looked down at the frayed pajamas sleeves. “Yeah, I guess,” he shrugged.

“Maybe you should get some new ones?”

“Nah, that’s okay; I like these,” Donghae smiled as he started to leave the room.

Eunhyuk frowned. “Oh… but,” he got up to follow Donghae back to their bedroom. “But,” he repeated “they’re really old and… and… they’re not safe!”

Donghae turned around and raised an eyebrow at him. “Not safe?”

Yeah… okay, so maybe that wasn’t a great argument. But really, they weren’t safe if you took into account how often Eunhyuk was worried someone might harass Donghae’s ass… or thighs in Kyuhyun’s case…

“Yes,” he nodded. “Not safe. You never know when… uh… one of those buttons could just… fall off?”

Donghae started laughing. “Oh, yeah, really dangerous.”

Eunhyuk huffed silently as Donghae turned back around and gathered his shower things. “I still say you should get rid of them. They’re practically falling off!” Which was true, damn it!

Donghae patted his shoulder as he left for the bathroom. “I don’t want to get rid of them,” he said. “I like them.” Eunhyuk pouted. His plan had failed miserably. “Besides,” Donghae paused at the door and smiled. “You gave them to me.”

Eunhyuk blinked. He had given them to Donghae? He was responsible for the evil?! … Well… Crap. Wait. Wait. Wait! He had an idea!

Muahahaha!!!

. . . . .

He needed to go shopping.

“Hey guys,” Eunhyuk greeted Shindong and Kyuhyun who were playing a video game in the living room. “Do you know where Donghae is?”

Shindong grunted something about getting ready for bed. Eunhyuk thanked him and rushed to his room in time to catch Donghae getting into bed. He was wearing ‘the pajamas’ again. But since he was in their room and there was no one else around to ogle him, Eunhyuk supposed it was okay.

“Hey,” Donghae smiled. “I thought maybe you and Lee Teuk had gone out after your show or something. I didn’t know how late you’d be so I didn’t want to wait up.”

Eunhyuk nodded as he set his shopping bag down beside the bed and leaned forward to give the smiling man a kiss. “That’s fine,” he whispered as he pulled away.

“What’s fine?” Donghae blinked his eyes open. Eunhyuk chuckled at the dazed expression on his boyfriend’s face. Donghae finally seemed to recall what he had said earlier and blushed. “Oh…”

“Hey, I bought you something,” Eunhyuk announced as he reached down for the bag at his feet.

“You did?” Donghae asked excitedly, starring at the bag intently as if he’d be able to see through it.

“Yeah, here,” Eunhyuk handed the thing over to be practically torn apart as Donghae tried to get to what was inside. All, while of course, wearing a look of complete seriousness. Aish; Eunhyuk wanted to kiss him again.

“What’s this?” Donghae laughed as he stood on the bed and held up the new orange pajamas.

“If you don’t know what those are, there might be a problem,” Eunhyuk teased. “Ah!” He held up his arm in self defense when Donghae kicked out at him playfully.

“I know what they are,” he said as he sat back down. “What’s the occasion?”

Eunhyuk shrugged. “I thought you could use some new pajamas… besides, you’d look cute in polka dots,” he smiled.

Donghae smiled back. “Well, thanks.” He leaned forward to give Eunhyuk a brief kiss, (that Eunhyuk felt really should have lasted longer), before he swung his legs out of the bed, pushed past his still standing boyfriend and placed his new pajamas carefully on top of his dresser.

“You’re not going to wear them?” Eunhyuk asked.

“Not tonight,” Donghae said as he made his way back to the bed. “I’m already in pajamas; I don’t want to change.”

Eunhyuk pretended to pout. “But I wanted to see how they look.”

“Stop pouting.” Donghae pinched his arm and climbed around him into bed. Ow! Seriously, Donghae really had no idea how much that hurt. Not that Eunhyuk would tell him… because you know, he didn’t want to look weak or anything… “Are you coming to bed?”

Eunhyuk blinked. “What? Oh! Yeah.” He went over to his dresser to get out his own sleepwear.

“I’ll wear them tomorrow,” Donghae promised as Eunhyuk slid under the covers and turned out the light. Eunhyuk sighed as he turned onto his side to face the man and closed his eyes. He supposed that would be okay.

Eunhyuk awoke from a horrible dream. He dreamt that the ‘evil’ pajama bottoms were trying to kill him. No really; they had been holding a carving knife and whistling DBSK’s ‘hug’. … Yeah, he didn’t really get the last part but the point was that the dream had been downright terrifying! And you know what he awoke to? The pants! Ah!!

Luckily though, he didn’t scream… out loud.

He blinked.

“Donghae?”

Donghae turned around. “Oh, you’re up. I was just heading out to breakfast.”

Eunhyuk blinked again. “In your pajamas?”

Donghae gave him an odd look. “Yeah…”

“Why?!” No! He can’t take another morning of glaring at the members for mentally groping his boyfriend! He just couldn’t!

“What is up with you this morning?”

“Er… I just mean…” Eunhyuk got out of bed and tried to think of a reasonable excuse for his outburst. “Why don’t you wear your new pajamas? I still didn’t get to see how you looked in them.”

Donghae rolled his eyes but was smiling. “Fine.”

Eunhyuk grinned. “Good. I’ll see you in the kitchen,” he said before leaving their room feeling victorious.

He had been feeling victorious anyhow, until he noticed the others in the kitchen freeze. What was wrong with them? Eunhyuk quickly grabbed the juice from Ryeowook’s hand before his glass overflowed. Yesung still had his fork raised halfway to his mouth. Sungmin’s mouth was also open, though he didn’t have food anywhere near it.

“Good morning,” Eunhyuk heard from behind him in an all too familiar voice.

Oh no. Were the others still starring at his Donghae? Had the man not changed after all? Did the evil pants still have a carving knife?! Wait. … Right, that last one was just a dream. Ignore that.

Eunhyuk whipped his head around and froze, looking much how imagined Sungmin looked right then. He shook his head and cleared his throat before speaking. “Donghae?”

“Yeah?” The man looked over at him from the fridge.

“Uh… are you forgetting something?”

Donghae frowned. “I don’t think so…”

“But… I mean… I’m almost sure that…” He took a deep breath. “Didn’t I buy you a shirt to go along with those?” He finally managed to get out, though it came out as more of a squeak.

Donghae looked down at his bare chest. “Oh, yeah… But it was a bit scratchy so…” he shrugged. “Anyhow, the pants are really comfortable,” Donghae smiled before turning his attention to the inside of the fridge again.

Eunhyuk looked around at the other members who were still starring openly at his boyfriend’s upper body. Great. This was not in the plan!!!

“Donghae,” Eunhyuk stood up and tried to block the others’ view. “Uh, could I talk to you in our room for a second?”

“Sure…” Donghae gave him a look that told him he was acting weird. Eunhyuk sighed and followed Donghae out of the kitchen. Yeah, he knew he was acting weird. But could anyone blame him? No, he didn’t think so. “What’s going on?” Donghae asked once they were back in their room. “You’re acting weird.”

“Yeah, I know…” Eunhyuk rubbed the back of his neck nervously. “Look Donghae… could you… put a t-shirt on or something before going out into the kitchen?”

“Why? It’s just the other members out there.”

Yeah. That was the problem. “I know that but… um… when you walk around bare-chested Ryeowook spills the juice and Yesung can’t eat and I have to spend all of my time glaring at Heechul and making sure Kyuhyun doesn’t man handle your thighs!”

Donghae blinked. “Wait. What?”

“Uh… please don’t make me repeat it,” Eunhyuk groaned embarrassed.

“So you’re…” Donghae smirked. “Are you jealous?”

Eunhyuk scoffed. “Jealous?” He scoffed again. “Don’t make me laugh. Why would I be jealous?”

“Okay then,” Donghae shrugged and started to leave. “Then I don’t see a problem.”

“Wait!” Eunhyuk grabbed Donghae’s wrist to prevent him from leaving the room. “Maybe I’m just a tad jealous,” he admitted in a rush. “But you haven’t seen the way those wolves look at you!”

“Wolves?”

“Yes.”

Donghae started laughing but he did turn around and grab a shirt from his top drawer to throw over his head. “Happy?” Eunhyuk nodded as his shoulders slumped in relief. Donghae grinned and kissed him on the cheek before opening the door to leave. “I like it when you’re jealous.”

“I hate you,” Eunhyuk grumbled, no feeling behind it as he followed Donghae into the hallway.

“You love me,” Donghae smiled, calling his bluff.

Eunhyuk sighed before smiling despite himself. ‘You love me’. Yeah… he really did.
