While we were in Vancouver yesterday, Fred reminded us that we had to hurry home so that we could be here to wish Carrie Happy Birthday and Congratulations on the release of her book Love (and Other Uses for Duct Tape).
Fred got distracted for a while when he and a seagull had a staring contest.
And WE got distracted by a windowful of bears crying to be set free.
But finally we headed for home, caught the last ferry
and arrived in time to say:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY AND CONGRATULATIONS, CARRIE
