Ok, so I logged on the other day just to read other people's entries, because I havn't in so long! And Tashie is right, no one updates anymore, including myself. But I decided that I'd like to keep in touch with everyone back home, and this is one of the many ways I'm trying to do that. Also, people can just see how I'm doing away from home, as an adult ;)

I love getting letters... it makes my life =)

Anywho, wow, college. I kinda have a love/hate relationship with it. Mostly love though. I don't really understand how people could STILL want to be in high school. I mean, yes I had so many good times with 'the group' and mostly, 'the circle' and of course all my ballet girls... but then you're just ready to MOVE ON! High school is good for what it is, preparing you for college... and honestly it wasn't even that good at doing that, for me at least! I think most high school classes should be more like Mr. Carvalano's Anthropology class, just more relaxed and college-like. All those hours of classwork and shit just seem so worthless to me. (Not that I really did it anyways) but still...

Ok, so I do miss everyone at home, oh so very much. It's really hard without my other half always being there for me, where I could just walk over anytime I ever needed anyone to vent to. And my secret LOVA, who is the one person that I think completely understands me (ok not completely, but pretty close!) I envy those who are close to home and can just meet up in Boston for lunch or can just take a train or hitch a ride to visit one another. For me, it's two long, not so fun plane rides. I HATE PLANES! It's just exhausting. Which is part of the reason I decided not to come home for Thanksgiving. I mean, planes are expensive and it just didn't seem worth it to me. I wanted to see my friends and sister and brother very badly, but I'm getting to see my other sister, and getting to OMG be in a CAR!!!!! I miss cars :'( But I just decided going to visit Jess at Milwaukee Ballet for Thanksgiving would be the most logical, easiest and funnest way to spend my Thanksgiving break. Everyone back home better not have too much fun without me man!!!

I really love my friends here. My roomates are basically amazing. Jacqui is really cool and majoring in Opera! She doesn't seem the type that would sing opera... she's just more punk and chill and idk just doesn't seem the type. But she has an AMAZING voice. She's always on the phone with her long distance boyfriend, who I am going to meet tomorrow! My other roomate (yes i have two awesome roomates bitches!) is Cassie. She totally rocks my socks. She's pretty crazy. She's very crafty too. She can make dresses, shirts, scarves, and really cool collages. She's majoring in archeology, although she is also really into Musicals. We're such dorks and always sing to musicals haha. The other half of the time we're all three dancing to 'The Numa Numa' or 'The Kitty Cat Dance.' We're seriously fucking crazy! My other best friends are my hall girls, Jaime, Tricia, Ally, Lauren. (I love all the other girls on my floor too... well most haha) And then of course their are my dancersssss. We always have special connections because we just GET each other! Liz is the only other dancer on my floor so we basically are together 24/7 which is usually a good thing =) Rachy is my new found love, my party buddy, and well just amazing. Erin is my crazy late night random mofo. We well i don't even know... we're just crazy. Theresa is my little nieve, but oh, so lovable child. I am her babysitter because she can't really survive on her own. (Seriously it's a really bad sign when I am the babysitter!!!) Emily and Michelle are my adorable friends. We all have dance parties... and oh, man. Trevor. He's well.... Trevor. How do I describe him? Well we dance to Justin Timberlake's 'Sexy Back' a lot if that helps...

Ok I realize you guys probably don't care to hear bout my friends so I'll stop that tangent. But I just wanted you guys to know the people who are now basically my family. Idk what I'd do here without them, seriously!!!

The main difference between high school and college I have found are the weekends. We stand outside of CVS instead of sit inside our cars at Brooks. haha. I'm kidding... kind of. No, but seriously girls, be careful. ALL COLLEGE GUYS ARE SKEEVY! They give girls free alcohol (which I'm not complaining that I don't have to pay) but then they want in your pants. There are 21 year olds that basically pretend to be freshmen so they can get with freshmen girls... ummmmmmm sketchhhhhhh. But anyways, it's still hella fun. I've had some crazy good times with both my roomates and dancers just being stupid and crazy. I've been both the crazy drunk we fell down the stairs, and I've been the one who cleaned up puke for 30min here. So it's a good mix I'd say.

Ok, basically the only thing bout college I havn't mentioned yet, is BALLET. And we all know, that is my life. Yup, it still is. I have ballet class four days a week... technically 6, because of rehearsals and warm up classes. I have Mr. Gleason. He is basically totally awesome. He may be slightly touchy feely at times, but he's just trying to get us into the right position... EW YOU PERVE I DON'T MEAN IT LIKE THAT!!!!!!! Seriously though, he's a really good teacher and I feel like he's already helped me soooo much. I'm going to be really sad next term when I get a new teacher, although I also really like Mrs. Partouch when I had her for open class. I've been very proud, I usually take the extra open classes (as often as i can at least) And I've been going to the gym a lot. When i don't do either of these I go to the studio with liz and stretch, do abs, practice turns etc. It's so much easier having a studio i can practice in anytime two minutes away, rather than a 25min annoying ass train ride with sketchy old men that told me they liked my dance moves. haha oh, good times.

So basically life is good. I can't really think of anything else to write... oh academics. ha yea, thoooose. I'm only taking philosopy and college writing 1 right now. I usually sleep through philosophy since we don't get graded on attendance. All she does is talk and I don't listen anyways, so might as well sleep right? College writing we're usually on the computers (don't ask me why cause idk) so usually I'm just on facebook and myspace. So if you receive a comment from me at 8am... it's cause I'm bored in class! haha. And yes, all of my academics are at 8 oclock in the fricken morning!!!! I am NOT a morning person... so I sleep through them. I think it's a good plan. It might back-fire later, but I'm willing to try it out for now.

Ok, well my roomate wants me to go to dinner with her... so I will try to update again soon? Leave me comments and tell me bout your life =) I miss everyone!!!!!!!!!!
