WELCOME TO SINGAPORE, SHINHWA! :D
[A Special Day- 15/6/2012]
I have never ONCE thought of going to the airport to receive my idols.......
Because I have always imagined and pictured it as a very messy, uncontrolled and chaotic situation, whereby I will get trampled and squeezed flat against barricades or people. Or at least thats what my mum thinks.
On 13/6/2012, the flight details for SHINHWA's arrival (excluding Minwoo, because that boy reached Singapore a day earlier) was released. It was at Changi Airport T2 on 15th June 2012 (Friday) via SQ5751 / OZ751, at 9.30pm.
I was thinking whether to go or not.... then someone managed to convince me to go. YES THATS YOU MINGYEE. hahahahaha... Told my mum and she was pretty cool about it and only asked me to come back home alive and don't get trampled on. LOL. OH YEAAAHHHHH. MY MUM TRUSTS ME. I AM SO TOUCHED, REALLY. /sobs
Met Mingyee at ard 6 outside Rivervale mall (took a shuttle bus from my sis house), and we took the bus to the LRT, then another bus to the MRT. WOW. I AM CONFUSED. Can't really remember anyway, was too excited to process the details of the journey to the airport. XD
Finally reached the airport (T2) at ard 7pm. Wanted to have a fast dinner and then proceed to find out which gate will our boys be exiting from. I suggested going downstairs because I remembered that fast food outlets are usually downstairs. TA-DAAAA... we ended up seeing barricades.... AND THE PRESENCE OF BARRICADES MEANT THAT STARS ARE GOING TO WALK THROUGH THAT ROUTE. WHICH MEANT THAT SHINHWA IS GOING TO EXIT FROM THAT GATE (Belt 31-34). YIPEEEEEE!
Saw quite a few groups of people loitering around the barricades area and some were already seated at the first row waiting. We did not want to miss the chance on getting a good position to see our boys, so we decided to just grab toasts from Toastbox (just right behind the barricades) and then choose a place to settle down at.
Many thoughts went through my head when I was deciding which place to sit down at. Lol. In that few seconds, I calculated the distance from the gate, the speed at which they will walk at, whether we would be able to capture pictures and fancams of their front (I AM POLLUTED BY JINNIE AND WANNIE [-.-] THOUGHT OF THE DEBATE THEY HAD ON SHINHWA BROADCAST. LOL), side, and back.
Mingyee went to queue and bought toasts for both of us...while I was choosing the seats. I had butter sugar toasts, while she had butter toasts. I even went to get a can of cold Sprite to drink and make myself awake. Was out the whole day since morning to hand in my timesheet and also to get a new phone with my sister. (T_T)
After we settled down, the fanclub members started to give out free fanboards and flags to the people present at the barricades. They were seated next to us, so we got our boards FAST. hahahahaha! And when I saw them at the concert venue the next day, they spotted me and waved to me!!!!! Such friendly people (: SHCJs JJIANG!!!!!
Me and Mingyee each got one board ((: Luckily we reached there quite early, if we were late, we wouldn't be able to get hold of the board. HAHAHA. The board is so damn pretty!!!! (:
I took out my phone and started trying taking pictures with my new phone- Samsung Galaxy S3 (in fact all the pictures here were all taken by my new phone).

After that, we just started playing with our phones to pass time since its still pretty early.
TWITTER- FACEBOOK- QQ- WECHAT- KAKAO TALK- MSN. For me, I just kept repeating this order again and again. HAHAHAHAHAHAAHA
And my ear was super alert, I kept listening to what the SHCJs beside me were talking about. They talked about Andy being the Kiwi Prince (ohhhhnooo, Andy is gonna roll his eyes and flip again..hearing himself labelled as DA KIWI PRINCE. LOL), and also about Bogeun a.k.a Manager Kim (:
They even made a board for Bogeun~~ In that poster, there was a picture of him wearing a demin jacket, it was one of the outfits he wore to the airport. So damn cute.
So my theory was right. SHINHWA MANAGERS ARE AS FAMOUS AS SHINHWA THEMSELVES. OH YEAHHHHH. So so special (:
By that time, there was quite a big crowd filling in and sitting behind the barricades already.
Then at around 8.40pm, the guards started to arrive and move the barricades further behind. Everyone had to stand up and allow the security guards to move the barricades. The guards kept pushing the barricades on our side further and further out, cause they weren't able to do it for the other side since there was a pillar there.
So everyone ended up standing even though it was still early, assuming that the boys need more than half and hour or so to come out (-.-)
This was the amount of people standing right next to me all the way to the glass windows overlooking the belts whereby the boys will collect their luggage from!!!!! Awesome much.
And the SHCJs standing behind me and Mingyee were super loud and hyper. They were just right behind us, mind you. LOL.They kept hitting each other and laughing at each other. For a moment when I heard the slap sound and Mingyee's 'AH' sound, OMFG.... I thought that they hit Mingyee and I was about to turn my head and glare at them.....THEN.....
LMAOOOOO. Turns out that it was just because Mingyee was shocked by the loud slapping sound. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Major fail. hahahahahaahahaha
The guy next to Mingyee...Kelvin I think (heard his name from his group of friends).
I saw him at Bishan Mrt Station the next day. Waving to him will seem weird, since I don't know him well. Calling out his name will be even weirder..duh. Can you imagine the amount of awkwardness that will appear if I did that. LOL. So I settled for nodding my head and smiled to him, and he did the same thing back to me. HE IS FRIENDLY ENOUGH TO ACKNOWLEDGE THAT HE RECOGNISED ME... AWWWW..... SHCJs ARE LIKE FAMILY MEMBERS.... (:
Not only him, me and Mingyee also met the lady behind us at the concert venue the next day. She recognised us too!!! And she was friendly~~ Volunteered to help us take a picture with our lovely OT6. Again, SHCJs are awesome peeps ^^
(On a sidenote, I realised that the people that were around me and Mingyee at the airport............I met them all the next day. 1 of them I met at the mrt station, the other 2 I met at the concert venue. Talk about coincidence! HAHA)
Oh and I remembered about me telling Mingyee about how I would actually knock the security guards out cold with my phone if they were to block my view. And the people beside me were busy zooming into the guards' tags and taking pictures of them since it was a SHINHWA picture. OOPS.POOR GUARDS. HAHAHA
9.30pm- Plane landed. It was around 10 then they started to come out to the belts and collect their luggages. We were notified by the loud and continuous screams. HAHAHAHA. I started to position my handphone at the gate at which they will exit from and tried to stay alert. lol.
FINALLY.......
Chief Manager Lee walked out first.
Followed by Andy!!!!
Looking shagged after the long flight coupled with his back pain. But he still did a 'victory' sign and waved to us (:

And then when everyone was moving away from the barricades, loud screams started out again.
THEN I REALISED. FUCK. WANNIE IS NOT OUT YET!!!! LMAO.
Rushed back to the barricades again and was lucky that I still managed to get a good position right behind the barricades.

I am extremely proud of this picture. No effects or anything at all. It was just right that the people around Wannie was blurred out and only Wannie can be seen clearly. There is even a light on top of Wannie making him look like an angel (:
AND I CAUGHT WANNIE'S SMILE AND DIMPLE IN THIS PICTURE. WHEEEEEEEEEEEE. SO PROUD OF THIS PIC.
Then I got so many pictures of Manager Hyun! And I am happy about it too~ Manager Hyun is cute too. MUAHAHAHA
And it hit me.
SHINHWA is real.
They walked past right in front of me.
And I am going to see them perform in the concert.
Being at the airport, receiving SHINHWA, before the concert night, made me anticipate the concert even much more.
It sort of raised my hopes for the concert the next night.
Left the airport at ard 10.40pm, feeling very excited about the pictures that I took. (:
Reached home at ard 11.45pm, since I live so far away from the airport.
Dead tired, but extremely pleased with the airport experience.
Thank you Mingyee!!! For accompanying me to the airport to see our lovely boys~
