The Northrup Family
So far "Life" for me and 'My' family is pretty great. I'm sure your wondering, "What does he mean by 'his' family?" well random person, that's easy. My family is the Northrup Family consisting of Robert (Me), Daniel (My son), Scooby (My Dog), and Tibbs (My Cat), I know weird family, but hey there my family, and I'm sure you notice that someone is missing right? Well I'm not really going to talk about that cause this isn't about her it's about me and 'My' Family. I may do another post explaining things about her, through my eyes (so don't take what i say as truth, believe me when/if I find out the truth I'll post it), until I get around to doing that I'm afraid you'll have to keep wondering.
Daniel
Okay, to start things off I'm going to talk about my pride and joy, the apple of my eye, the chip off the old block, My son Daniel
. He just turned one so...HAPPY BIRTHDAY DANNY!!! I really love him and no matter what I'll always be proud of him and have undying faith in him. I'm writing this for him when he gets older and to all of you, just thought I'd mention that. Moving on, so far he is in perfect health, he's walking (with support, but it won't be long), and he can say *sniffles* "Da Da" *sniffles* I'm so happy for that. As far as I know Daniel loves the color green, peguins and foxes, and loves to play with my stuff (i.e. my ps3 controller, my cell phone, my wii mote, and anything else of mine that he can get a hold of, lol). I would love to teach him all that I know about video games, science, and math and various other things that I have learned. What if he isn't in to the same stuff I'm into? Well then I'll look into what he is into so I can try to help him if needed. I have a lot things figured out on how to tell him about certain things like drugs (I'll do with him what I did with myself, I'll walk him through figuring out why he shouldn't do drugs instead of telling him "Don't do drugs!" I just hope my works, well we'll shall see and only time will tell), there are two things that I haven't figured out yet on how to tell him, sex and his mom (tell the truth I don't know what will happen so I may or may not have to tell him), but with those I still have plenty of time to figure that stuff out. I can't wait to see the boy, young man, and man he'll grow into, I just know that no matter what I am and always will be proud of him.
Scooby
Up next is my Dog, Scooby
. He is a 7 year old Black Lab and Golden Retriever mix. What can i say about him he is like a surrogate son, and I do love him. He is an awesome dog and Daniel loves him, and scooby is used to him, and he is like a big brother towards him, lol, and that is awesome. Scooby has been with me ever since he was 5 weeks old, I raised him, cared for him, and played with him, so he is like a son sort of speak. All in all he is a dog but he isn't just any dog he is my dog.
Tibbs
Now up to bat is the feline furry himself, my Cat Tibbs
. He is a Black and White short hair cat. Truth be told I do prefer dogs over cats, however Tibbs is my cat and I love the little guy and wouldn't trade him for any other cat in the world. I had rescued him from the animal shelter, granted my ex wife did talk me into adopting the little guy, but truth be told I fell in love with Tibbs when I first saw him so if I were to have a redo on that day, I'd still would adopt tibbs. This little guy has had a huge impact on my family and my parents (in a good way). First off tibbs does share the house with the dogs and they're cool with him (not any other cats tibbs is an exception on there part), Smokey (may dads Dog), who by the way has a history of dislike torwards cats, has actually shared sleeping space with him, they get along surprisingly well and I'm glad. Scooby and Tibbs get along like brothers always looking out for each other, always playing, and always competing for my attention. I Think this cat is either a thrill seeker or a masochist. Why? Well, random person that keeps interrupting and asking questions lol, some times scooby will chase him, don't worry it's purely out of friendship, and tibbs enjoys it. Yeah I typed that right this cat likes to be chased by scooby, ever so often especially when he is high on cat nip, lol. He will sometimes play with scooby's tail when they're out in the kitchen its actually kinda funny to watch. Tibbs doesn't claw at scooby he bats at him like what kittens do, you know what scooby does, he bats right back, lol, im serious I don't know if tibbs acts like a dog or scooby acts like a cat, who knows, I do know that they get along like brothers. Daniel loves tibbs and tibbs well he tolerates him, he doesn't claw, hiss, or bite him, he just runs away, lol. That's good though that he doesn't do that to Daniel. As Daniel gets older tibbs and scooby will have another person to pet and spoil them, lol.
Well thats my family, you all really don't need to know much about me, I'm divorce I have a son, a dog, and a cat. like to listen to music and such. I love my family and i will be there for them and I know they will be there for me through thick and thin, through good times and bad times. We will stand by each other no matter what life throws at us cause that's what family is all about. We are proud, we are strong, we are happy, and will we will be by each others sides through no matter what, cause we are The Northrup Family.
