So last night the Wiggle Room was awesome. Hillary York opened for Buttercup and I got to talk to her, we're gonna try and do a duo show together sometime. Buttercup was amazing they did one of the best ever versions of "National Spelling Bee" with bells and glock replacing the pounding drums and guitars. And they covered Jonathan Richman and we're just overall amazing in general.
Didn't get home until nearly 12:30 so that was kind of a pain but I succeeded in reading until 1 to worsen my sleep deprivation. Ha what a rock n roller I am, "What'd ya do last night?" "Well I went to this show and then I came home and read!"
Well today was depressing as always is valentines day but I have 2 songs brewing in me tonight one of quiet beauty and another of blinding rage and love.
Had my interview/photo session with Enrique from Rumbo this afternoon, it was pretty cool. They took pictures of me holding my violin and guitar and Enrique asked me a few questions.
I really am loving Bright Eyes right now, I love how motion sickness captures a lot of anger and emotion on it.
Damn,I just found out from Justin Parr that the Silos Show on Friday is cancelled! That so sucks, I was really looking forward to it too. But someone in another silo booked like 15 hardcore bands last first Friday and they wound up blowing out the power and having all this other crazy shit happen, it wasn't even Justin's fault but someone is apparently punishing everyone because of this one silo's actions.
