So. New car. Who doesn't love a new car?! All that lovely upholstery to stain, paintjob to scratch, doors to dent. AHHHH LOVE!!
I think my new car is possessed by the vengeful spirit of my old car.
New car: Drove straight and strong. Narry a sound out of place. Gas milage was in the range of about 22mpg in city. Up into the 30's on highway.
Old car: Front right wheel stabilizer bar snapped once. Had to replace the whole thing. (Tie rods were going out toward the end of ownership, but replaced those too). My point here is that the passenger side front wheel had serious issues.
Driving in the city, I got about 16mpg. Also, CD player didn't work for lord only knows how long (I was told by a salesperson that it was possibly due to power loss to the radio. It will lockout cd/tape until it's turned back on by a official dealership in case it's stolen)
So. I've had the car a bit longer than a month.
Now, the passenger side front wheel area is bothering me. Car pulls a little bit toward that side. Not a WHOLE lot, but a bit. When it goes over bumps the sound seems a bit off. And now, most recently, I'll hear some kind of odd rubbing noise of some kind for just a little while. Only happened twice now. I've looked at it as close as I can (without a lift) and can't see anything the matter.
I just topped off my gas. somehow, in a month, I've gone from 20+mpg to 18mpg. The weather MAY have had an issue with that, but I don't know. I don't just LEAVE me car running. I'll have to keep a closer eye on it.
Also, the cd player doesn't work.
HOLY CRAP I'M BEING HAUNTED!!!
