Let me explain... I was talking to Steve (hershfield) online last night. And he was all like... "yea mike and I have an interview set up for later this week." And I immediatly sent out the email (which i wrote about a month ago) asking Steve (meyer) how he feels about hiring 16-year-olds. Seriously all I need was a little bit of competition to get up the courage to ask him... shows something about my personality..... hehe... Well I just got the reply!!! YAY! He says that I am qualified and can be considered for one of the 3-4 positions of 16 year old staff!!! WAHOO!!! But Steve (m) was all like, "i can only hire like very few (16-year olds) maybe as counselor (well actually he called them "cabin leadership roles") so you might have to do "dirty" (as megan calls them) jobs i.e kitchen staff, until your 17 then you could again be in a cabin." (that was paraphrased in case you couldnt tell...) And honestly I may still not be "on staff" this year because you guys know me... I couldnt be locked up in like a matenence position where i can't be with people! So if he can't get me in as a counselor then I probably will just volunteer or do LIT. I just don't know. But the fact that I am even being consiered is superly superly sweetly awesome! So I want to thank everyone who tried to get me to ask him... it paid off. But this makes me happy!!! Get excited!!!
