saturday night

we poked at fluffy bunnies
pat the goats
shared a candy apple
watched pig races
and rode a pirate ship
while admiring the joy it brought
to the 6 year old sitting across from us as it swung back and forth

we sat in a cirle in the gazebo
then split a 12 pack while watching a movie
you bring out the mean side of me
but its ok, because i think its funny. . . and you do too

long rides to newburyport
on a mission
with a trunk full of cameras
and sometimes with a lack of cameras
i like how we can laugh at ourselvess together
until our bellies hurt.
