So the trip was the experience of a lifetime. I had so much fun shopping on Michigan avenue! We almost got killed crossing the strret. I got hit on by a cab driver. We found this great little church in the middle of all of these highrises and shops that was amazingly serene and it had this courtyard with this little patch of grass and allof these ( Read more... )

Good to hear you had a great time. It sounds like you got to see a lot of the things I saw my first time in Chicago. Let's see...

-Had a view of the Sears Tower from the hotel (actually went there and up to the top)
-Went to the Rainforest Cafe
-Went to the Rock & Roll McDonalds (yes, it is amazing!)
-Went shopping on Michigan Ave (actually, I was brought along, I didn't buy anything)

I really like Chicago and would go back anytime. I think I could actually live there for a couple years or so.

I'm thinking about interning there now, so i may live there for like 6 weeks.who knows? but I am kinda holding out to see how i like new york first, plus i have about a year to decide.
