I don't remember if I've commented on this story before; if not, I should have. Dead Like Me isn't a show I'm familiar with, but the way you're handling it, that doesn't really matter. I love seeing the boys through George's eyes, who is both human and other at the same time, and who could appreciate their life in ways normal people couldn't, I think.
I look forward to the conclusion, because at the moment I am about as clueless as George and Dean.
Dead Like Me is a weird little show...sometimes the idea is better than the execution, but not outrageously--and the idea *is* always good. It's been canceled (like all the shows I love, alas), but I think you can still download ep's from the studio website and there may be reruns on SciFi and a Firefly-esque movie. I guess I do have to be finishing this story, though, before TPTB actually conclude the season and solve the deal. Anyway, thanks for commenting!
I love the idea that, in those 3 months during Mystery Spot where Dean was just missing, he picked up a few tricks, so he doesn't have to expend quite so much energy and concentration on being "solid" as the reaped normally would. Don't know if that actually makes sense in either canon, but it's my story and I fabricate if I want to. And so, naturally, that begs the question: what could break Dean's concentration? Bad news about Sam, of course. Any way, thanks for commenting. Stay tuned: it's almost done.
I really like the idea of Supernatural/Dead Like Me crossovers. You're story is really well written, you've got the characters down very well. Can't wait for the next chapter.

Thank you! I had a lot of fun writing it: it's a great crossover! The story is actually finished (it's listed at my journal, but I forgot to put the final link at the bottom of this section until I got your comment). The table of contents is at http://2ndary-author.livejournal.com/40352.html--if you haven't read part 8 yet, enjoy!

I love that Dean can eat and touch stuff and is still *there* but...oh.
*sniffle*
Love this so much.
