Hey here are the lyrics to The Shores of Effulgence songs...read if you'd like and comment on what you think...

Take both of our lives, just save hers.
Ghosts can't hurt you, I'll make things right.

The tears run from your eyes like the blood from your wrists. (Take my life)
I am drained with nothing left to give. (But my life)

Is it crazy that I loved you more
Since I gave my own life for you to heal?
Take this switchblade to both my eyes.
I can't see you but I can hear you breathe.
Reach for my hand, so I know that
You are here with me.

Three apparitions: shadow, rage, and light.
Soulful devastation. I won't stand for this.

Would you be impressed if I used these new found appendages?
And tore my bottom lip to shreds. I always said I would die for you.

Black clouds part against asphyxiant conditions.
Soothing light shines from stars above.

Lyrics by Jeremy Shannon and Jesse Cabbage

Let me walk you home, one last time.
Break these rusty shackles from my wrists.
I'll never let you go, never let me go.
Meet me on the brige in my dreams.

I'll carve your name into my throat next to the fang marks on my neck
while spilling someone else's blood over the threshold of your eyes.
We're spending time with ghosts under a sea of coffled dead.
Suddenly you smile as we waste away into your last breath.

So many guns to choose for this.
Now we'll never be the same again.
I wish I knew you better, I wish I loved you more.
Please forget my name when you leave.

Waste not this precious empathy.

Lyrics by Jeremy Shannon.

This horror story unfolds before my eyes.
Or is it inside these shuddering lids?
Once such a peaceful village.
Now the terror seems so vivid.

These years of death don't mean nothing anymore.
I watch rotting flesh fall upon the floor.
The cemetery's empty no corpses lie.
This town's in a frenzy I stare into red eyes.

Scores of them stalk stiffly down the street.
Devouring every organism that they meet.
Once they've found a way under your skin.
They'll implant the same evil they've held within.

A double-barrelled shotgun can't even save you now.
I wish I could kill the undead, but I don't know how.

I walk up to my window and press my palms and face against the glass.
Lifeless bodies envelop your pleading eyes and you become one of the pack.
What's that sound?
It's my front door crashing down.
Then scraping skeletal feet and moaning from down the hall.
Get the hell out of my way, I gotta make an urgent telephone call.
The other lines not ringing, it's just buzzing over and over again.
Nerves are at their end as a sickening scent grows stronger,
and that icy breath is felt on the back of my neck.

I feel the sensation of cold dead flesh, singed and fetid.
And one bite will end this nightmare, that was all too vivid.

Lyrics by Nick Talbot

Suddenly i awake from this night terror
everything seems fine, but you're not here with me
Darkness falls, it should be light
The sky burns red

I walk down the stairs and wonder why there's so much red
dripping down my window, concealing a severed head.
Revealed when I open my front door, I'm at a loss at what I should do.
Panic settles in with, the strangest sense of deja vu.

This is a massacre, where the victims become assailants.

I see the faces of people, people who I barely know.
People whose names were carved into tombstones years ago.
I wonder if this is for real, or do my eyes dare deceive?
The sensation of cold, dead flesh is enough for me to believe.

Lyrics by Nick Talbot (except for intro by Jeremy Shannon)

Seated so innocently trying to focus.
Slip in your slick lecture, and fall into a daydream.
Inadvertently it happens, I can feel the rush of blood.
Emptying my brain of all concentration.

The only question crossing my mind.
Is will I be able to hide it in time?

My name the shock that awakens my consciousness.
My name summoned against my will.
The fire in my face burns a scarlet sunset.
Fueled by humiliation.

But I can't tuck away the destruction of the social status I have built
without drawing attention and raising suspicion.

So here I face my social doom
And the gates of high school hell appear before me,
gates lock behind me, black clouds of laughter form overhead,
and bombard my ego with their singeing rain
directed at the unprovoked protrusion.

Lyrics by Nick Talbot

We've just experienced a calamity.
We need a savior now more than ever.
Our only option who we held so dear and so close
is celebrating in a collection of his own material desire.

Your feeble attempts to justify what you've done
won't be sold to my stubborn conscious.
You claim how munificent they were
but their abundance allowed them to afford all they bestowed.

I stare into a sea of pale skin
nearly colliding into a mountain of pleading, bloodied faces.
An avalanche of lost hope is crumbling rapidly down.
And none of us are rescue helicopters.

But this is exactly what you were to us.
Keeping hope alive after it took a bullet and shots of poison.
We need you now more than ever to recussitate.
We need you immediately to operate.

The corpses just keep growing in number.
The cadavers just seem to multiply.
I have an oxygen tank, a scalpel, latex gloves.
But only you would know how to use any of it.

Your impetuous decisions to betray our loyalty
Left us all in disbelief.
Don't worry, we're no longer wishing you back.
Don't be surprised if your treachery leads to your ruin.
