waiting for the printer
It's really strange to be at work while my students are here, but to not be in the classroom with them. The county gave me a sub today so I could use the day working on testing portfolios, only I don't have any students who are testing. So I asked the other teachers on my team what I could do for them. One of them told me I could print up a 19 page powerpoint for her. I pointed out that I did have the whole day to do things, so she gave me a 30 page book to print as well. So, 10 minutes of work and then I'm looking for something else to do, right? Nope. The printer is taking approximately 3 minutes per page. It would be faster, and a lot less boring, to just print a b&w copy and color them in by hand. Maybe I'll do that once I finish the first book.
