thoughts about 30
People keep asking me how it feels to be 30.
It's a bit weird, but only because it's a different number in front. I told someone it was like when the year 2000 came along, and we all had to stop writing 19--.
So far, 30 feels good. My body feels strong, my mind feels focused, and I think a lot of priorities have been figured out since 20 and even 25 rolled around. I have a good job. I have a happy marriage. I have a place to live. I have the money to buy good food, and the metabolism to handle it. I have so many good friends.
Yeah, I'm pretty happy with 30.
