Title: Stay
Pairing: Joe Thornton / Evgeni Nabokov
Team: San Jose Sharks
Rating: Implied R?
Disclaimer: Real people, fake story.
Summary: Patty is not on the roadtrip and Joe hasn't been without a roommate in three years.
Author's Note: This is a little experiment with all dialogue. I had to give Nabby an exaggerated accent to be able to distinguish who was talking, so, just a forewarning if that will bother you for some reason. And thanks to revuko for allowing my experimental phase to flourish.

“Well. I have the room to myself now.”

“You could have a room to yourself anyway.”

“But I like having a roommate.”

“Then why are you excited?”

“I’m not excited. I’m actually kind of lonely.”

“Then why are you calling me instead of jhust coming over to my room?”

“Because I want you to come here.”
