Notes: First off, I'd like to thank everyone for the wonderful feedback that's been posted here, I wasn't sure if an original fic would find much support in a fanfic community and it's so exciting to find out there are other total historical hockey geeks like me :D Although I feel super pressure now to keep the quality up hahah. Second, this part is a little late because I've been fiddling with other things on the site that hosts the series. If you're interested in some of the factual background of the SiR story, I've put up a mini guide with a few references and stuff. It will be updated as the series progresses to avoid spoilers for later stuff.
Also, turns out, too much free time with a graphics editor IS TROUBLE
(Look at Russian history, every hundred years or so there's someone new in power starving and murdering everyone else.)
