AUTHOR'S NOTES: It's been awhile since I wrote a moment. Sigh. So busy, so many bunnies, so little time. ENJOY!
Joff was reading a book as he tuned out the loud shooting noise that was coming from the television. Turning the page, he also started to tune out the excessive whining that was coming from his best friend.
"Oh, come on, Joff! Please?"
Joff refused to answer. If he answered, than that meant Scottie heard him.
"Joff? PLEASE?"
He looked up briefly, quickly, to catch Scottie pouting at him. He rolled his eyes and went back to his book.
"PLEASE? Joff, play with me!"
Joff shook his head no and turned another page. He kept ignoring the pouting and the Xbox controller that Scottie was shoving into his lap.
"Oh, but I don't like playing with myself."
There was moment of silence, as Scottie now sat wide-eyed on the floor, game momentarily paused. Joff couldn't help himself. He laughed, and Scottie just sighed and rolled his eyes. He didn't find it very funny.

AUTHOR'S NOTES: Think about. Really. Food is a great distraction for boys. ENJOY!
At the end of an exhausting day, all Joff wanted to do was shower and go to bed. In that order, nothing else, no distractions. But he lived with Scottie, so of course he wasn't going to bed that easy.
The third line winger was staring at him already, a predatory glint in his eyes. Scottie wanted him, he was horny, and nothing was going to stop him from advancing on Joff.
Well, maybe there was one thing.
"You hungry?" Joff was hopeful, no, fucking determined to distract Scottie. Let him eat and Joff could slip into his bedroom and fall asleep. With an early morning skate, Joff was sure Scottie wouldn't wake him once he was sleeping.
The plan was working so far. Shower was done, dressed, and Joff was in bed. He had fed Scottie some leftovers, and by the sound of dishes being tossed around in the sink, Joff could tell he was done eating. He was almost there, almost asleep when...
"Hey, Joff!"
The bed dipped and soon Scottie was lying next to him. Joff groaned and rolled over, opening his eyes. Scottie was naked, grinning at him.
"Oh my god, are you serious?"
"What, you thought feeding me food was gonna make me forget how horny I am?"
Joff sighed and tried to ignore the growing erection his friend was sporting. "Shouldn't you like...wait thirty minutes after eating?"
"I'll take my chances."
He was doomed. There was no way Joff was going to bed anytime soon.

"Will you hold still!"
Scottie squirmed under the freezing cold ice as Joff held the bag up to the side of his face.
"It's gonna get worse if you don't ice it."
"I don't fuckin' care." There was a slight pout on Scottie's face, although it turned more into a scowl as Joff continued to just stare at him.
"Why?" He attempted to press the bag softly against the forming bruise and this time Scottie let him.
"I don't know." Scottie shrugged. "I just don't. It was a stupid fight. He shouldn't have gotten in my face."
"There wasn't a winner of the fight, if that's what you worried about."
"Fuck winning, I looked fuckin' stupid."
"Oh."
"Oh?"
"Yeah, oh." Joff pulled the ice pack back and set it down on the bench. "You didn't look stupid. No one looks good when they fight, anyway."
Scottie's eyes dropped to the floor, the scowl suddenly disappearing. "You do." It was barely above a whisper.
"What? Speak up, Scottie, I can't hear you mumbling."
"I said you do."
"I do what?"
"Look good when you fight." Scottie brought his eyes back up to look at Joff and caught the slight blush forming on his cheeks.
"Oh really?" Scottie nodded and Joff just smiled. "Well, thanks." And he kissed him, short, quick, before the locker room filled up and they were forced to pull away, the kiss now a memory only shared between them.
