DISCLAIMER: Don't own any of these people. This is all fake, fiction of my mind. Not intended to harm anyone.  This is used for entertainment purposes only. I also don't own the lyrics used in this story.
WARNINGS: Not for the dearly beloved Penguins fans. There's some hate, especially towards Crosby, but hey, I'm warning you now. There will be slash, of course, but some mental and physical abuse (and damn near rape) as well.
SUMMARY: Lupul enterains the emeny.
CREDIT: I was listening to a song from one of my favorite bands, Hurt, and this song inspiried me to write this story.  The song is actually called "Abuse of Sid", although there is no direct name mentioned.
AUTHOR'S NOTES: This takes place during the season but at no point in time. I am including lyrics from the song. They are in italics and paranthesies, not to be mixed up with the characters' thoughts that I usually write in italics.  My muse is very evil, as mentioned before, so I'm not suprised that I was "blessed" with this idea.  I do have a Penguin-hating-boyfriend, who also hates Sidney Crosby very much (but this is the same guy who playfully teases me bout Scottie Upshall), so I am kinda directing some of his hate towards this story. While I do have my own feelings about Crosby (which will remain unknown), I don't want to upset or affend anyone who likes the Penguins and Crosby (and even Malkin). SEE WARNING. I do appreciate comments, whether good or bad. However, I do hope this is enjoyable and that when I continue to write it the following chapters will be welcomed.  *There are two different parts for this story, with a few chapters in each part. I'm not naming the chapters. Too much work lol.  :) Aslo, this intro pretains to all the chapters in Part 1.  The slash, lyrics, etc are through out the whole story.

Chapter One

While standing in their kitchen, hands supporting himself upon the counter, Joffrey Lupul was looking out the window and observing the fastly approaching evening sky.

"I think it's gonna rain tonight."

A sharply dressed Scottie Upshall, clad in dark blue jeans, a black buttoned polo shirt, and black shoes, had grabbed his jacket and was putting it on as he entered the kitchen. Lupul turned his head - had to catch his breath from escaping in a moan - and caught sight of his gorgeous friend.

"It won't rain." Scottie adjusted his jacket and approached Joff. He opened his arms and spun around, acting like a little girl showing off her pretty new dress.  "How do I look?"  Scottie batted his eyes and smiled playful at Joff.

Lupul had to stopped himself from bursting out laughing.  "Good."  He took a deep breath.  "And hot."

Scottie wiggled his eyebrows and caught Joff in a hug.  "Don't I always?"

Joff caught wiff of Scottie's cologne and had to push his friend away. "Jeez, Ups. What's with the cologne?" Scottie never wore cologne unless the two of them were going out to pick up chicks. Tonight, they weren't doing that.

"I've gotta smell good for my date."

Jordan Staal was about five minutes away from pulling up into the parking lot that sat across from Scottie and Joff's condo.

"Date?" Lupul rolled his eyes. "You crack me up."

Scottie pulled Lupul back into a hug and kissed him hard on the lips.  "Don't be jealous." And with that, Scottie winked and was out of the kitchen.  Lupul watched him disappear and then looked back out the window.

Don't be jealous...what the fuck?

Lupul found out that Scottie and Jordan were good friends when Lupul was traded to the Flyers. Whenever the Penguins came to town, or vice versa, Scottie and Jordan always hung out at least one night toghether. Joff never went with them; he knew what always happened at the end of the night.  Scottie and Jordan never found girls.  No, they always had each other when they eventually made it back to the other's motel room, or condo, and no other teammate heard from them until the morning after.  Lupul knew the two of them fucked; he knew Jordie was just another fuck-buddy of Scottie's, another boy Scottie wanted to play with.  Lupul didn't like Jordan all that much, so he never went with him and Scottie to the bars or clubs, but tonight Lupul thought differently.

Joff looked down at himself, intrigued in what he was wearing.  Blue jeans, sneakers, white t-shirt.  He could grab his leather jacket and he would look pretty decent.

As the door bell rang once, then twice, Joff grabbed his leather jacket from the closest. Scottie rushed past him to answer the door.

"Jordie!"

"Scottie!"

Scottie let Jordan in and they hugged. It had been over a month since either one saw the other.

"Hey, Joff." Jordan gave him a smile, quick as can be, and then turned his attention back to Scottie. "So, you ready to go? I've got the car running. I am ready to party!"

"Yeah, I'm good.  You going out too, Lupes?"  Scottie was looking at Joff now, eyes full of curiosity as he noticed the jacket on Lupul.

"Um, yeah.  Actually I was wondering if I could come along with you guys?" Lupul cleared his throat, trying to sound less like a girl asking for permission to play with another girl's barbie doll.  "Beats hanging out here."

Jordan and Scottie looked at each other before Jordan gave Joff a smile. "Yeah, sure."

"Ok, cool."

"Come on, Lupes."  Scottie put an arm over Lupul and directed the two out the door.  Lupul escaped from Scottie, who walked off laughing with Jordan, and locked the front door.  He mentally prepared himself for the car ride. He wasn't sure why he had invited himself along.  He could of just called Richie, or Danny and Marty, see what either one of them were doing tonight.  Lupul had no clue what he had gotten himself into, or what he was going to get himself into later on that night.

*****

They arrived at the club about ten minutes later.  In the center of Philadelphia, Lupul knew exactly what club they were at.

"You gonna be our designated driver, Joff?" Jordan's voice caught Lupul's attention. Their eyes met in the rearview mirror.

"I don't know." Lupul's voice was soft, barely heard.

"Aw, come on, Jordie. Lupes can drink.  We'll just call a cab if we have too."

"Yeah, sounds good. I haven't seen Joff drunk yet."

Their eyes met again and Lupul wondered what Jordan meant by that.  Torn apart by the sound of sqealing tires, Jordan took a sharp turn into the parking lot and parked the car not far from the club entrance.  He turned the car off and the three of them got out.

It was still early in the night, and you could see as they walked into the club.  A few people sat at the bar, and while the music was blaring loudly, only a little people were dancing to it.

Scottie lead the way to the VIP section where him, Jordan and Joff all got a table.  Jordan ordered the first round of drinks.  Scottie ordered the second.  By the time it came around the third round, Scottie and Jordan were ready to go searching for their chicks.

"We are gonna go dance!" Scottie shouted over the music. Lupul nodded and smiled as a loose, free feeling Scottie placed a hand on his shoulder.  "You gonna be alright?!"

"Come on! I wanna get laid!" Jordan was pulling at Scottie and within seconds he managed to get Scottie to follow him down the steps.  He caught sight of Scottie one more time - he gave him a smile, a nod, I'll be fine - before loosing sight of him into the massive crowd of people. It had gotten really busy in the past thirty minutes.

Lupul waited as he wanted to get the attention of their waitress. He wanted another drink. He wasn't close to be as drunk as he wanted to be to feel comfortable right now.

He could feel the warmth of the heat engulfing his body and he suddenly felt too hot to be wearing his jacket. As he took it off and turned slightly in his chair, he caught sight of a familiar face at a table not too far from his own.  A quick glance and then he noticed two familiar faces.

Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin.

Joff turned back in his seat, accepting his drink from the waitress as she set it on the table.  Three big glups later the drink was gone. It burned his throat, he hissed at the taste, and almost slammed the glass back down.  He reached for his napkin - another slight glance; they were still there, laughing now and drinking their beers.

A slight blush crept onto his face as he thought they caught him looking.

Shit.

Joff stumbled with his jacket - don't look around, he'll see you - when someone suddendly standing next to his table cleared their throat.  Joff paused, ignoring the feeling of embarrassment, and looked up.

Sidney Crosby, hair tousled with gel and that smirk so cleverly planted on his face, was looking at Joffrey.

"Hey." His smirk became a smile as he took a seat in the chair across from Joff, were ironically his own teammate had been sitting there earlier.

Lupul wondered why Sidney had come over to him.  Did he want to start shit with him?  Was he looking for a joke and decided to plant it on him? Was he just so drunk he didn't realize who he was talking to?

"Um, hey."

There was a long, painful silence, as Sidney just sat there and stared at Lupul.  In the events of maybe they weren't at a bar, Lupul would of thrown a punch at Crosby.  He would have beaten him and pushed him and broken him down.  Lupul hated Crosby, because Joffrey Lupul had the biggest crush on Sidney Crosby.

"You here alone?"

"No. Friends."

Crosby looked around.  "I don't see them."

"They are out dancing. I decided to stay back.  You got a problem with that?"  Lupul didn't know where the attitude came from.  Maybe he was frustrated he was being bothered, or maybe he was frustrated because he wanted to lean over the table and kiss those pretty lips that just keep fuckin' smiling at him.

"No, I just wondered if maybe you would like some company."

"Oh.  Well..."  Lupul looked anywhere but at the Captain.

The Captain, he thought. The Captain of the fuckin' Penguins.  Why the fuck am I still talking to him?

"Well? Would you?"

Lupul swalloded the lump in throat. Just say no, Lupes.  "Yeah, sure."  Joff went to signal the waitress for another drink, but Crosby caught him off guard.

"Won't be neccessary. I have plenty to drink back at my room."

"What?"  Lupul watched Crosby stand up, adjusting his own jacket.  He grabbed Lupul's off the back of his seat and handed it to him.

"Here. Let's go."

Joff wasn't sure if maybe it was because of his drinks, or the sound of the music, or the fact that Crosby just looked so inviting, but Lupul took his jacket and accepted the invitation.  Wondering if he should say something to Scottie and Jordan, on his way out he couldn't find the two.  Crosby led him through a back door and waved down a cab.

Crosby held the door open for Lupul, who slid in and kept his eyes on his shoes.  The door slammed shut after Crosby got in - outer thighs now touching, Lupul pretended not to notice.

The ride back to the hotel that was housing the Pittsburgh Penguins was short but silence.  The cab pulled up and waited. Lupul watched Crosby hand the cab driver some money and they both got out.  As the cab sped away, Lupul couldn't quite comprehend what exactly he was doing.  Torn between confusion, excitement, and a little bit of lust, Joff stood there outside the motel. He still had time to turn around, go back to his condo, and wait all night for Scottie to come home, but he didn't.  Lupul entered the motel.  God help him.
