Robert Nilsson walked up the set of stairs and entered the team plane. the Oilers had just beaten the Flames only a couple hours ago, and the team was pumped. The playoff dream was still alive. He moved to the back of the plane, placing his bag in the overhead storage compartment. He glanced around in search of a seat. Most of the team were sitting together, chatting loudly about the win. But Robert noticed one of his team mates was sitting alone. It was Kyle Brodziak.
Kyle closed his eyes and kicked back. It felt great to win a game of such importance. Especially in a place like Calgary, where there were Oilers fans around. He loved winning, but this felt so much better. They were going to make the playoffs, he could feel it. The seat belt sign came on and he fastened his up, getting ready for the short flight to Edmonton.
Robert casually sat down next to Kyle. They hadn't spoken all that much since the party the weekend before. and he wasn't going to bring that up right now, not when the rest of the team was around. Still, it's all Robert thought about. He looked at Kyle from the corner of his eye, getting a little agitated with the fact that Kyle hadn't even looked up to see who was sitting beside him.
Kyle noticed Robert looking at him and smirked a little. He was cute, especially when he was mad, and he could see he was getting pissy. Kyle took out a piece of paper and pen from the pouch in front of him and wrote on it. Hey Bobby! How are you?
Robert grabbed the folded piece of paper on his lap and glared at Kyle, but he couldn't help but smile a little after reading it. He took the pen from Kyle and wrote his response on the other side of the paper. I'm doing good, Kyle. How about you, Mr. Delay-of-Game? You know, the puck is supposed to stay on the ice. That's the point of hockey.
Kyle read it and then turned to face Robert. He crumpled the paper and threw it on Robert's lap. He leaned back in his chair and brought his mouth an inch away from Robert's ear. "You know, I may get those penalties on the ice, but I'm sure I would only get two minutes for roughing with you." He whispered. He grabbed Robert's hand and slung his fingers through his team mates, prepared to release quickly if anyone looked.
Robert sat there stunned. He had never seen Kyle act so forceful before. This was a whole new side to him, and Robert liked every bit of it. He brought Kyle's hand down between them, so no one would get suspicious of them. He stroked Kyle's soft hand with his thumb, all the while looking into Kyle's eyes.
Kyle smiled. "We have the worst timing ever." He released Robert's hold and ran his hand slowly down Robert's thigh, grinning the entire time. "Are you thirsty?" He nodded towards the back. "I can go get us drinks."
"Uhh, yeah, you can get me a water." Robert replied, a bit flustered. He moved his legs so Kyle could get out, blushing as Kyle purposely gave Robert an up close view of his silver Hugo Boss belt as he made his way over him.
Kyle bent down to pick up his pen that he "dropped" and looked Robert in the eyes. "I think I need some help..." he mummbled and made his way to the back of the plane, hoping Robert would follow him. When he got there he picked out two bottles of water from the fridge.
Robert waited for a minute to pass before he got up and made his way to the back. He walked up to Kyle, who was holding out a bottle of water for him. He swatted it out of his way, grabbing the nape of his neck and pulling him in hard. He licked Kyle's bottom lip, remembering the taste of his kiss. He didn't know how he could have gone a whole week without doing this.
Kyle's bottle of water was open, and as Robert attacked him it spilled all over his shirt. "Shit.." he mummbled. He looked up at Robert and smiled slightly. "I guess this is coming off." He pulled Robert close and kissed his neck, running his hands along his back.
Robert pushed Kyle back against the wall, his hand travelling down Kyle's damp chest in search of the hem of his shirt. Once he found it, his hand began it's way back up, undoing each button one by one. He felt Kyle shiver underneath his shaking hand, causing him to kiss him deeper.
Kyle, in turn, pushed Robert into the opposite direction, kissing him hard. He felt for the door of the bathroom and ripped it open pushing Robert into it, and following, locking the door behind him. He grinned. "Mile high club?" His eye brows shot up and he pulled Robert to him again, attacking him with kisses.
"I thought you'd never ask." Robert managed to say between kisses. He swung Kyle around, taking charge once again. He pushed his body into Kyle, causing him to grab the wall for support. "You have way too many clothes on, and since you gave me a nice look at this earlier, it's coming off first." Robert loosened Kyle's belt, pulling it out of each of the belt loops of his dress pants. He removed Kyle's shirt at once and began a trail of kisses and bite marks along his collarbone.
"God damn." Kyle muttered. He began to copy Robert, removing his jacket and tie, then working on his shirt, kissing his way down his torso. He chuckled when he got to his belly button. "No belt? You're prepared." He looked up at Robert, a fire in his eyes.
"Figured I wouldn't be needing one tonight." He retorted, biting his lip as Kyle's tongue made its way down his stomach. He wasn't going to tell him he was ticklish and risk him stopping. As Kyle undid the button of Robert's pants, the pilot's voice bellowed out from the speaker above Robert's head. Everyone please fasten your seatbelts, we'll be landing in Edmonton in roughly 10 minutes. "Are you fucking kidding me?!" Robert groaned, his head falling back.
Kyle stopped what he was doing and looked up at Robert. "Shit.." They got dressed quickly and Kyle left the bathroom first. He settled into his seat, and soon after Robert sat down next to him. He looked over at his team mate, and caught his eye. He couldn't look away. He took Robert's hand and hid it between them and smiled to himself. Even if the world couldn't see it, this was a perfect moment.
Robert found the pen and slip of paper they had had before and grabbed them both, writing down what he wished he could say to kyle. Come home with me tonight. He folded it in half and slipped it into Kyle's free hand. Kyle read the note, then slid it into his jacket pocket, giving Robert's hand a gentle squeeze. Robert would take that as a yes.
