danny is my main hockey guy as well, along with Miller. it was ovielove that got me looking at other teams. I've been getting into the capitols. I haven't picked favorites. She's wearing me down on the ovie thing. Slowly. I'm sure it'll happen.

I shunned a Penguins game AND a Sabres game last night to watch Ovie's attempts to score! It ended in a shutout and I was STILL WATCHING!

Oi, i swear I'm not full of player hate. There are only three players that just make my skin crawl. That's Ovechkin, Crosby and Emery. Ovielove is converting me on Ovie, You might work on converting me to sidney love. I still dont think anyone can convert me to like Emery.
I love pretty much everyone else.
Side note - i've finished my 100 chapter story. What should i do next? *flails*

I dont know if i want to try with Sidney. He's just so damn cocky, and 19, and a captain... And a journalist said he was the next Bobby Orr... and I think that's wrong. He's good but not Bobby Orr good. I'll try. I'll see what i can do about the crovechkin. I do like your writing, so that's a bonus.
Maybe once the ice bowl is a distant memory....
Glad we can agree on Emery. I feel thats a safe bet.
Also, side note - after reading Ovielove's Ovie, I just want to run around and speak in broken english in a russian accent. "Is good, no?"

I'll read him in stories (occasionally) and yes, I've even written Crovechkin stories of my own which I actually liked writing (and you should read :P)
I can freely admit how talented he is, of course. And considering he's a Penguin I don't hate him nearly as much as, say, Lemieux and Jagr...call it wisdom with age or the mere fact that he is way classier than either of those two or whatever, but he only rubs me the wrong way because of the CRAZY media attention.
And the fact that he's a robot.

Um, the urge to speak broken OvieEnglish? One I fight every time I finish writing a chapter, I swear. I'm walking around going "Is good, yes? Unbelievable. Russian machine never break." I think roomie is looking into mental hospitals for me as we speak...

Sidthekid is a robot. In the 100ways fic thingy, I wrote that he got booted from the nhl for steroid use. Just cuz I wanna mess with him.
I'm currently writing a capitals blurb thing. Little snapshots, because i dont think i can write full capitals fic until i get to know them a bunch more. Although, i found the sabres connections are interesting. Ovie, Kalinin and Afinogenov were all in the russian world cup together. Interesting....... *wheels turn*
