A/N: Hey there! I know I am LATE with the update of my chaptered fic “Life is too unpredictable”, but I have reasons for that! First, it’s end of the term, second , my doctor is making tons of appointments every week, and finally, and probably the main reason, I was in bad mood and almost killed Taemin, Jonghyun and Minho in third chapter, which means the end of my sucking fic, and every 2min and Jonghyun shippers hating me, including myself. So, I’ll update once I’ll get back on track. And as my apology I wrote this fanfic, inspired by my dentist, who made an appointment for me on Valentine’s Day =] Sorry for too long note =]

“Onew, so…what happened yesterday? What did you do with Sica?” grinned Minho looking at his best friend.
“Uhm… She wasn’t THAT good, lemme tell ya. Yuri was much better, and she was virgin,” replied Onew without any emotion. “Why didn’t you go with Tae Wee-sshi? Didn’t you notice how she was looking at you?”
“Of course I noticed, she was eating me with eyes. But she was too easy and boring… you know I don’t like girls like that. I don’t even want them.” said Minho looking around. “Who are you going to take on a date for Valentine’s Day? It’s coming soon.”
“I don’t know. Hey, let’s go out together. You don’t have anybody to go on a date and I don’t. We can hang out in some night club” Onew started laughing.
They were best friends for 3 years already, since Onew moved from Busan to Seoul in sophomore year of high school. Now they were seniors. Hottest seniors. Hottest seniors without girlfriends. Hottest seniors without girlfriends, who loved girls and never let any skirt just pass by.
“Well, boy, okay then. But a little change of plans: Night club and many girls!!!” Minho was getting excited. It wasn’t bad to not have a relationship; actually it was good, very good. You do whatever you want to do, and you don’t have to explain why everyday on the schools newspaper there’re pictures of him and new girl.

“Key, why every year is the same? This year again I don’t have a date on Valentine’s day! Ottoke? ” Taemin was pouting. “And furthermore, I have a dentist appointment that day, I’m the unluckiest person ever!”
“YAH, Taemin!!! You’re not the only one without date; AND you know that Heechul and I broke up on Valentine’s Day last year…So, stop pouting. Even thou I love your cute face, but stop reminding about that! It’s even good that we have dates, I’ll take you to the doctor and then we can go to eat some ice-cream.” Key always would find good side in anything.
“Well, okay… YOU said ICE-CREAM, not me!!” smirked Taemin. Key would never allow him eat ice-cream outside in the winter time, since Taemin could easily get sick.
“Oh, shit. .. well, okay, once I can allow you,” smiled Key . Taemin was smiling back.
They have been best friends for almost 10 years, since their 1st grade in elementary school. Always being together they were so similar, but also so different. They both were very beautiful, friendly, and kind, and sweet guys, always being straight A students. They could understand each other from half-words. But while Key was all diva-like-life-living creature, Taemin was just very shy and quiet guy, whom others barely noticed in Key’s shadow. Taemin never complained, he loved his life in Key’s shadow.

“Key, let’s go. My appointment is at 2 pm, and if I’m late I’ll have to wait until 5 pm. And I’ll not get to eat ice-cream!!!” Taemin was shouting from the front door while Key was still dressing up.
“I’m almost done!” Key shouted back, so Taemin could hear him.
“You said that 40 minutes ago, Kim Kibum!” Taemin’s patience was running out.
“Ok, I’m done. Let’s go.” Key got out of their shared apartment. Their parents allowed them to stay together, because their own houses were too far from their school. Even thou their parents would always come and check-up on them, they got to live together.
“Thanks God! I thought I was going to wait until next Valentine’s Day!” Taemin poked Key’s stomach.
When they went outside it was snowing, It wasn’t heavy snow storm, with wind and cold going thru all your bones, but it was light and very pretty snow. Thing what caught their glaze was that it was snowing straight down from the sky, not from left, right and mixed, but straight. It seemed like thin white strips falling from the sky. It was very beautiful… No, it was breathe-taking beautiful…

At the same time on the other end of Seoul.
“Onew hyung, it hurts. AAAAAArgh… It hurts, please stop the pain… Pleeeeease..” was Minho pleading. His tooth pain begun at night. It wasn’t just regular toot pain, which you can bear, but it was like needles were inserted at the place of his tooth. And he didn’t understand why he was having such pain, because he had perfect teeth, and had just recently visited his dentist.
Well, tonight they definitely weren’t going to the night club as they planned. They had to find working on that that day dental clinic, which was very difficult since it was Valentine’s Day, and everyone was spending this day together with their lovers or friends.
After driving almost thru all Seoul they finally arrived at one dental clinic, where sign “We make your Valentine’s Day sweeter” was welcoming into the building. Why that was written on the dental clinic’s sign didn’t bother them.

“Key, SEE! I told you we were going to be late! And now my doctor already has another patient in the room, and I have to wait!” Taemin was mad, because with each minute passing his chances of getting ice-cream was getting less and less. If it would get too cold Key would forbid him eating. Of course he could eat ice-cream at home, but that was different.
“Wai…” Key started talking, but was cut off by noise of two guys literally falling in to the reception room.
“Excuse me, Miss. Could we get my friend to check up, it’s emergency case, he has been in pain since yesterday” shorter guy explained to receptionist girl.
“Uhm, I’m sorry but I think you’ll have to wait. Only 2 doctors came out today, and one is having another emergency case, and to other one there’s a line. You can ask that guys to let you go in first, if they’ll agree then you can go in soon” replied girl.
“Well, thank you” winked Onew
“Urgh, he’s such a player. He’s flirting even with receptionist girl!” Key was suddenly feeling uncomfortable. He didn’t like flirt guys. He believed in true love, so he didn’t date any other guy since he broke up with his last lover and only lover one year ago.
Taemin at that time was observing the most beautiful guy he has ever seen. Uhm, ok, he should remember to not pout that out in front of Key. Or he’s going to be killed with most cruel death from spatula.
He saw tall guy, with face in pain. And his face was in pain made him look even more handsome and made Taemin want to take all that pain away from this stranger guy.
He has never felt this way. He has never liked any girl. Well, because was sure he wasn’t gay he looked for his princess among the girls, and Key often would say to him that Taemin was the only princess still existing on the Earth planet.
“On-yuuuu, fassser , I cannt beer wid id anymoee” finally sounds came out of the Minho’s mouth.
“Hey guys, can you do us a little favor? Could we go first, you see… my friend is in hell pain.. and I had to listen to his whining all day long, I’m not sure I can hold that anymore” Onew flashed his perfect smile at Key. “ Wow, he’s gorgeous” thought he ..”Wait a sec, did I just think that this GUY was gorgeous?????????”
“Nope, we were waiting for this doctor almost an hour, and your friend is going to make that hour two hours.” firmly answered Key. Hell, no he was going to let this flirt guy to pass them. This guy was flirt , the type of people Key disliked the most.
“Hey, gorgeous, why can’t you do this? Don’t you see in what kind of pain he is.” Onew was still smiling. “His voice is enchanting” thought popped in his head.
“Don’t call me gorgeous, you punk” said Key angrily. This guy was now flirting with HIM????
“Well, you look gorgeous, darling ” Onew suddenly came close up to Key and looked at guy’s eyes, locking their gazes at each other.
He didn’t understand himself why he did that. It was just something in this guy in front of him what made him do all of this. He definitely wasn’t gay, he never liked a guy before. Well, he never thought about a guy in other than just friendship terms before. He head was getting confused, but his heart made him do all of these.
While they were staring at each other, Taemin went up on his shaking legs and even thou he was hell nervous, he came up to Minho and took his hand.
Minho was in pain. He was ready to rip that part of face apart, only to stop the pain. He didn’t notice anything since he couldn’t focus because of the pain. Then suddenly he felt soft hands on his own. And he felt pain to lessen. Maybe because he was shocked to feel some stranger squeezing his hands. The lessening of pain cleared Minho’s gaze, and he could finally clearly see who was holding his arm. He didn’t think of taking his arm out of the other’s. It felt right.
Then his heart almost stopped. He saw an angel holding his hand. Auburn long hairs falling down to the shoulders, soft smile on the perfect face and light brown eyes, with warmth in them. His skin looked very soft, so Minho couldn’t help but touch it with his other hand, to see if he was right. But also he wanted to see if it was real person and not an angel. Maybe the pain was driving him insane, so he started hallucinating.
Taemin was smiling looking up to the guy. His heart was beating like he just had run a 400-meter track. Then suddenly he saw guy’s free hand rising up to his face, and then he felt gentle touch. First it was just touch, then it started caressing his face gently. He felt blood rushing to his cheeks.
Minho saw angel to blush. “Angel’s blush too,” stated Minho the-matter-of-fact to himself. And then he heard angel to talk. “Are you very hurt?” the voice was angelic.
Minho didn’t feel the pain anymore. Only thing he could think was how to make this angel to not let go. He wanted to freeze the time.
“Are you very hurt?” Taemin asked the taller guy, but he seemed to be very shocked, so he didn’t get an answer. “I shouldn’t have had touched him” he thought. But when he tried to let go the hadn he felt that the other guy was holding it tight.

Doctor entered the room and saw the interesting scene: two couples, in one the two guys were glaring at each other, and second couple were holding hands and looking at each other with startled gaze. And he recognized his patient in second couple.
“Taemin-sshi, do you have a problem with your teeth?” he asked the smaller boy. Boy shaked his head like he was getting out of trans.
“You made an appointment for me today, didn’t you?” Taemin asked surprised
“No, it was next Monday, February 21… oh, wait, I think I know what happened. I have another patient with name Taemin, and he had an appointment today. I think the notification went to both of you.” Doc cleared the situation. “And you, young man?” he asked looking at Minho.
“I was having really bad pain since last night,” explained Minho to doc, but suddenly he realized that he didn’t have the pain anymore. “But I don’t feel the pain anymore”
“Okay. Let’s come in and let me look, if everything Is fine, because you can’t just have pains from nowhere,” said doctor inviting Minho to come in inside.
“Can you go in with me?” he asked Taemin. He was afraid of dentist. That was the only reason why he cleaned his teeth 3 times a day, and did everything to not meet them.
“Uh, sure. By the way, I’m Lee Taemin. Nice to meet you,” shyly said Taemin
”Minho, Choi Minho” introduced himself Minho.
And they went with doctor, with hands still holding each other and eyes looking at each other.

“Where is my BABY??????” gasped Key when he finally broke off their eye contact with Onew and only then noticed that Taemin was missing.
“I think they ditched us, I mean your friend and my supposedly friend ,for whom I was trying to get thru you. Yeah, we are lucky enough to be ditched even by friends. ” Onew looked frustrated. Minho left him, without saying a word. Then genius idea popped in his head. “Uhm, gorgeous, wanna go to skating with me? I mean now?” and without waiting for the reply he pulled the other guy into his arms , and then he kissed the other guy, who was shocked.
Key tried to push away the guy who was sucking his bottom lip. He felt how guy’s one arm started moving down, so he said “Oh,” which was enough for Onew to enter Key’s mouth.
Key stopped struggling with Onew’s embrace, but started fighting for dominance in his mouth, but soon he gave up, and let other boy to ravish his mouth, whose tongue was discovering all parts of his mouth.
After few minutes they broke off their kiss. They somehow needed oxygen. It was the only moment when Key was sorry that people had to breathe in order to live.
Onew without saying anything pulled key out of the clinic and started dragging him to the near skate ring. Key wasn’t against it. He lost his fight to this boy the moment he let this guy to overtake his mouth.

While doctor was checking Minho’s mouth, Taemin was still holding his hands. Minho wasn’t scared. He felt like all his fears were taken away by this small guy.
“Hm, I don’t see anything wrong in your mouth. Everything is perfect, Minho-sshi.” smiled doctor. “I don’t understand why you had the pain.”
“neither do I,” replied Minho. “Maybe it was fate that Taemin was wrongly invited to the appointment, and I had pain that faded away once he touched my hand” he thought.
“You can go now, guys, but if you’ll have pain again come back immediately,” gently said doctor.
“Thank you doctor, ”replied both of them in unison. Then all three laughed.
When Minho and Taemin were walking out of the clinic, their hands were still linked together.
“Skating?” asked Minho
“Yes,” smiled Taemin.
And they walked in the same direction as couple before.

“Mmm, Master, perfect as always! But today were two couples. Why? You usually link only one couple on this day” girl in reception asked looking at doctor.
“They all like one, all four of them. They just needed to meet each other. It would’ve happened anyways. So for both couple I did only half of usual work. And two halves make one!” smiled doctor.
“Do you think they’ll come next year?” girl looked up
“I know that they will. And they’ll come with surprises,” doctor was being mysterious once again.
“What surprise????”
“You will see next time,” doctor didn’t say anything more and walked in to his office.

~ONE YEAR LATER. VALENTINE’S DAY~
Little crowd entered the old clinic with “We make your Valentine’s Day sweeter” sign. Four adult looking guys were each holding a baby in their arms.
“Babies, look at this place and remember. This is where everything begun” smiled tallest guy.
“Ne, babies, it’s where your appas and ummas first met, and never separated again” was saying the smallest guy in the group.
“After this we are going to chicken shop! Yeobo, you promised me” pouted a little, the oldest guy.
“Yah, Lee Jinki. How can you ruin this moment with your chicken!” gorgeous looking guy was saying angrily. More frustrating was that he couldn’t shout since there were 4 little babies, and they could wake up.
They all laughed, and at that moment doctor went out and greeted them, then smiled looking at the same girl at the reception and said, “This is the surprise”…
