Minho is a mind-reader.
He hears things people doesn't want others to hear.
He hears rants Key spew out in his mind, about a stray strand of eyelash; smeared eyeliner or Onew's too-blue top.
He hears desperate hunger and craving for Mexicana in the midst of Onew's worries about Key's dirtied apron.
He hears nonsensical lyrics and weird melodies in Jonghyun's brain, apart from random girls' names and something about bartenders.
He hears Taemin's complaints and annoyance for everything, from Key's random diva song-playing (or dancing) in the bathroom which echoes throughout the dorm, to Minho's victory hugs with different hyungs with that damned smile on his face that looks like he enjoys it, to Onew's incoherent sleep-talking about Key in a large fried chicken suit and Jonghyun's tapping of his Hello Kitty silver bling pen on the new chocolate marble dining table for inspiration.
Minho is a mind-reader.
People doesn't know.
A smack on the wooden floor; Minho looks up, dazed.
"I'm so sick of wanting his attention. Why don't he just walk over here and freaking kiss me already."
Breathe, Minho.
Footsteps.
Gasp.
"Hyung, what are you--"
"I'm kissing you, isn't that obvious?"
"How do you know what.. I want?" A frown, a curious smile and two sincere eyes.
"Because I want to kiss you too."
