New release coming November 19th!

Why is it that when you need to get up, you could sleep for days and yet when you could literally sleep the day away, you're awake at the ass-crack of dawn and just CAN'T go back to sleep? I woke up both Saturday and Sunday at slightly before/after 7am and while I tried valiantly, just couldn't fall back asleep. I was up and reading the paper at like 7:30/7:45. That is just wrong on the weekend when you have no plans to go/do anything. This morning? Clock went off at 7am and I mentally groaned and wanted to roll over and go back to sleep. I totally could've dropped right off, too. So not fair, body.

Sleep issues aside, in 9 days my new novel, ZA: And The Dead Shall Rise will be released! I'm so very excited for this, guys. There will also be a free read, ZA: Week 1, available soon that details the first week of the ZA for our main characters. As some of you may know, there is already a free read on my author LJ called that. The one that you'll be able to DL from TQ has new chapters to it that will only be available there.

I was also on the Neverwinter forums last night and have definitely come to the conclusion that I'm not a "serious" gamer. Why? Because I read of these builds that people do to min/max their character and all the testing they do for distribution of points and the type of gear they get (epic is old hat to them, T2 gear is standard and they usually have several pieces that are legendary quality and I'm not even sure how to get that). I saw a CW the other day with a gear score of just over 23K. That is insane! My CW's have just over 13K and they're wearing T2 gear and have epic quality weapons/items. These people also talk about doing inane amounts of damage and never needing to chug pots to stay alive. Wow. Just wow. I'm not going to stop playing the game because I really do enjoy it, but damn, it's a little disheartening to think you're doing okay only to find out you're not doing as good as you could be.
