Holy crap! how did it get to be March already? Does time move faster when you get older? I seem to remember a year seeming to take forever to go through and here we are already 3 months into the new one and it doesn't seem like that long ago that it was Xmas. Not sure if I like this year zipping along thing.

I'm glad you finally made a decision on the MH doll - only because it was stressing you out when you couldn't figure out where the desire was coming from. Now that you've identified the clear plastic parts as the culprit... you can move right along and maybe incorporate that into a different character. Didn't you consider getting clear plastic parts for Sleet before finding out that the size wouldn't work? That may have also been playing into it, without you realizing it. *nod*
I'm sorry that you've injured your tongue... it's a very awkward place to deal with. For the increased ability to smell - have you stopped or decreased your dairy intake? I know one time I stopped eating dairy for a while (not intentionally, it just happened) and my ability to smell things increased. I also got congested a lot less.
I'm looking forward to seeing the poncho when it's done - it sounds like it's fun to work on. ^_____^

Yeah, I think it was the whole clear resin thing that had me. I'm glad I've put that to bed now. However, I did find myself looking around on DoA and various stores for a head that could be Adrial. Dunno why. But dolly brain works in weird ways. But I think it was also like looking for Haskell. Once I found him, it was enough that I knew who he was and I didn't want to bring him home. I think the best candidates were the Soom Chrom Firelord (human head) and the event/gift head by DIM.
The tongue is slowly getting better (or I'm ignoring the pain better; it could go either way). I really have no idea what happened there. I'll be glad when it's better though. I'm not huge on dairy stuff in general and usually the only dairy I get in a day is the milk in my coffee in the morning.
I'm quite pleased with the way the poncho is knitting up. I've made this pattern quite a few times and it's really dead easy. it would be something you could do (beginner level) but you'd need circular needles in at least 2 lengths (long & short), or better yet, the Denise interchangeable needles (which is what I use). It's just straight knitting except for at hem and collar where you knit 1 row and purl the next to make garter stitch when knitting in the round. You get fancy with the colours and such to add interest if you want.
