Giving up on your dreams knowing that reality will never account for them.
OR (what I call) American Idol Syndrome, being second-rate at best and having others constantly praising your mediocrity to the point that you are so disillusioned by their inane admiration you actually believe your talented enough to "make it" someday. It's pathetic.
So if you want the truth, please by all means, come and inquire on my option. You know I'll be blatantly honest with you. But, I figure, you already knew that. And that's why you don't ask me anymore.
