Snow White knew that the apple was poisoned.
That would have been her “happily ever after”
She would have escaped. Escaped from the dwarves that were occupying her day to day life:
Needy
Selfish
Dramatic
Vague
Random
Condescending
And
Oblivious.
Every day, she cooked for them, she cleaned for them.
She did everything that they asked of her.
And each day, they left….off to the diamond quarry
Searching, she knew not for what.
All she knew is that the diamonds that they dug for were more precious than the clean house, the warm meal and the made beds that they returned to each night.
Each day. They. Took. Her. For. Granted.
Snow White was no dummy.
She knew that the old woman in the cloak was not who she seemed.
She knew that the intentions were foul.
…and that’s what she wanted.
At least the old woman had been honest with herself.
She knew she despised Snow White
And took action.
That was Snow White’s way out.
She knew the apple was poisoned. God, she was hoping it was.
But, fuck, they found a way to “save” her.
Snow White wasn’t saved for her own good. The dwarves, one through seven, had their own motivation in mind.
It wasn’t that they would miss Snow White. It was that they would miss all that she had done for them.
