well, at least for now i'm not dying (i mean we're all dying in the Sylvia Plath sense of the word). i have a problem with my throat and i was convinced it was some sort of irreversible damage done by my years of smoking. i went and saw an ear, nose and throat specialist today and they think it's a tonsil infection. the doctor was kind of an asshole, but he didn't find any immediate serious damage (no lumps, which i guess is good). i'm on antibiotics for 10 days and if my throat still hurts at that time then they do a cat-scan.

i'm not a person that goes to the doctor very often, so when i do have to it freaks me the hell out.
