The conference was a success!

Last night I went to a "Symposium" and drank A LOT of wine. But, wine is gluten-free and thus, my indulgence was justified.

I get really uncomfortable sometimes when I go to parties with graduate students... not because I don't like them (because I honestly think that most of the philosophy GTFs are AMAZING) but because I'm afraid of getting drunk and doing or saying something really stupid. Last night Laura slurred a little bit to Sarah LaChance Adams and she felt bad about it the entire night.

I really enjoy Max's little brother Griff and his house full of boys. They are crazy, but a good kind of crazy; the kind of crazy that motivates them to put on jean short shorts and fake mustaches and play really bad dance music.

I've been reading a book about Celiac disease (thanks to Michael) and I realized that for the last 2 weeks I have been eating products with wheat in them without knowing. (which explains my partial, but not full recovery). I also learned that I'm supposed to go through a mourning period for the wheat that I can't eat, and that I shouldn't "hesitate but rather, negotiate."

I've got to go do homework. I'm so behind!
