About time for another update

May 13, 2006 21:22

Off the list of things to worry about:

-APs (Bio was really easy. The essays were a joke).
-Senior Project. Finished up the chapter I was working on 2nd period Friday, then Dan helped me make 4 copies of it plus my self-eval and the abstract at the copier in Heath. Hooray.

On the list of things to worry about:

-Being elected as class speaker. Though I was hoping to make Cum Laude, and was pleased when I did, it literally never crossed my mind that there was an actual possibility of me being elected. However, apparently lots of people are voting for me. And while that's really nice, and the reasons people are giving me for voting for me are really nice, and finally confirm for me that what I've always striven to be- a good person- has not gone unnoticed, I don't want to be class speaker. I'm terrified of performing or speaking in front of crowds. But we'll see what happens.

In other news:

Stadium Arcadium is really good.
My bro is home for the weekend (he's done with exams, but he's apparently just going to hang out at Swarthmore with his friends for a few more weeks).
I am probably going to join an Ultimate Frisbee league this summer (games about once a week). Unfortunately, it's in Middletown, but it's the closest one that I could find. And I need to register this weekend because registration ends Monday. I just need to make sure that it's ok if I miss a couple of weeks, because:
My bro is going to France to learn some french this summer so he will actual be able to communicate this fall when he does a semester abroad there. And my parents and I are going for 2 of those weeks and taking one of the 2-week courses with him. So it might end up that my mom, my bro and I are all in the same class. (My dad doesnt know much french, so he'll probably be in a beginning class). We'll see how weird that ends up being. The awesome thing is that I'll be rooming with Ethan in the dorms at the school, so that should be really fun.

Later all

-G
