I am hoping to get all my holiday cooking and baking finished by Monday. S is at work today, but tomorrow she'll be home to help me. I think we're going to go out to brunch tomorrow, and to Michael's to get the necessary items for packaging our goodies, but other than that we will have to stay in the kitchen.

Today's argendar:
-Make fennel confit, then can said confit (this will be my first attempt at canning, so I think I'm going to need to allow a lot of time for this)
-Make pear and ginger jam, can if there is time
-Prepare dough for rugies and refrigerate overnight
-Make honey cookies

Tomorrow's argendar:
-Finish any leftover canning
-Make rugies
-Make brownie thins
-Make snowball cookies
-Go to Michael's and buy stuff for packaging
-Package everything
-Bring over goodies to neighbors
-Print out UPS packing slips to mail out goodies to friends and family afar

Also, at some point, I am going to need to run over to Publix and buy some more olive oil, because we are completely out. I miss the days when we lived in Baltimore and Richard would bring us olive oil from NY.

Oh yes, I almost forgot...I need to go to the bank today too. I should probably run out and do that now while the fennel is in the oven.
