I roasted a turkey breast this evening because I've been having a hankering for thanksgiving food. I served it with jellied cranberry sauce (so sinfully delicious), roasted potatoes, and steamed veggies. All that was missing was a Charlie Brown special. :-) I can't wait for actual Thanksgiving to arrive.
Earlier today I used a machete to hack down some of the brush in the backyard. Our property goes back much further than I thought though, and it's going to take forever. I want to cut down all the brush so I can have a woodland garden back there in the woods...you know, plant fern and virginia bluebells and crocus. Well, I was out there for a few hours, but didn't make much progress. I did manage to hack out a path though. There is a huge rock wall back there that I never noticed before. I'll have to take my camera out there next week to get some pictures.
I may try to go to Vegas in December with Becky and Nicole. I must see Celine Dion before she leaves Vegas. Celine is one of my most guilty pleasure. Sure, her songs are too cheesey for words, but she can sing! C'mon, you know it's true.
