Smearing. I think I had a chemical, given those early positives I had on FRER and just the all-consuming urge for beef and the other symptoms I was having. But my beta came back without a viable pregnancy and now I am smearing, despite still being on the prometrium. I also take the fact that I'm having breakthrough bleeding while on prometrium as being another sign of a chemical. I'm stopping the prometrium today. Hopefully this period will be a relatively painless one.
So all and all, I'd say that's progress. I'm not upset, surprisingly. I ovulated on my own, without the stupid Clomid, and I'm THRILLED about that. I think we got the timing on target. It seems like we are getting closer. That's two "almost pregnants" in a row. Surely that means something!
This week I have an appointment with an RE at Nashville Fertility. I'm hoping they'll monitor me closely and we can find out exactly what the holdup is and then fix it.
In the meantime, we've been quite busy, so it hardly feels like the end of the world.
