Cardinal Sins
So, LJ wants to know which of the seven deadly sins I am most likely to commit. Well, LJ, let me tell you. First would be sloth. This is my number one favorite sin. In fact, I commit it everyday, and I may or may not be committing it right now. I really feel a great affinity with the sloth. I move incredibly slowly, I don't get worked up about much, I expend as little effort as possible, I sleep 15-18 hours a day, and there is almost a 100% chance that I will be late to something. Okay, maybe 15-18 hours of sleep is a bit of a stretch, but I definitely can eat, sleep, and give birth hanging from a tree limb. But strictly in terms of the sin of sloth, I am apathetic and can be joyless on occasion. Also, I fail to live up to my full potential pretty regularly.
The second sin I am most likely to commit is that of pride, because let's face it, I'm pretty proud of myself. Who doesn't, deep down, feel that they are actually pretty great and probably more awesome than most other people. My pride doesn't go so far as to be hubris, though. I don't humiliate my victims and I don't desecrate their corpses. I'm not that drunk on my own victoriousness.
My third favorite sin is gluttony. Girl's gotta eat, and I might as well enjoy it. Who doesn't look forward, somewhat obsessively, to a delicious meal?
Fourth on my list is lust. Yes, I am guilty of fornication.
Greed is th fifth sin I am most likely to commit. I do love stuff, but my desire to possess things doesn't manifest in the typical sense. I'm a hoarder, a collector, if you will. I desire to own more and more things, especially those sorts of things that have no real value, some people might refer to these sorts of things as junk, but they would be wrong.
Tied for last place in my list of sins are envy and wrath. I don't begrudge anyone anything. I don't wish to deprive anyone and I don't get pleasure from seeing others brought low. Also, I am almost never incited to wrath. I don't feel violent impulses; I have no desire to wipe out a population, or even an individual.
So there you have it, I am a slothful, proud, gluttonous little sinner. So, I guess I'll see you in hell. <3
