my volunteer coordinator has come through again! i will be volunteering on tuesdays until my schedule changes again, but they have work for me.
also i had an awesome productive weekend.
i got a ton of spinning done, made lots of food, and spent a few hours volunteering with pies for peace for the antiwar committee on saturday.
okay maybe sunday was less productive, but we all need a day of rest, right?
this week's plans include: continuing the job search, hopefully combining getting c her stuff that i still have with a group knitting night so that xmas knitting can be accomplished, checking out the evening church service at arlington hills, and hanging out with selkie_b this evening.
ross and i had a long talk the other night about opening up to the world more that somehow wound up creating some productive ideas for improving my cover letters. one thing he is completely right about? structure can be a choice or it can be a cage, depending on how much you lean on it. it is an amazing thing to have a partner who knows you better than you know yourself.
