So he picked me up last night.
We're going out to the car, he opens my door for me. And there lies the Japanese chest that I adored, that I had saw at World Market (import store) the previous day. Sitting there. I looked at it, and then I looked at him. "SHON! NO!" He's so...observant of the things I enjoy. He said he wanted to be the one that got it for me. It's so beautiful. It was a nice drive to Coeur D' Alene. He smelled really good, he looked really nice.
We stayed at the Coeur D' Alene resort. It's so beautiful inside. There's a fireplace in the huge lobby, that is in the middle of the room. Surrounded by little sofas. I got a red carnation. And a beautiful view of the lake. We went to dinner at The Bonsai. It was also beautiful. It had a river inside with Koi in it...and the atmosphere was just amazing. After our dinner, we picked out fortune cookies for each other. I opened mine, only to find the most amazing fortune in the entire world.
"A short stranger will soon enter your life"
I couldn't believe it. I laughed so hard. I was crying. I showed him and he did the same. It's amazing. I kept it, and I'm going to put it somewhere special. (He's 5'5 if you were wondering) He said he wants me to photocopy it and give him a copy. We came back to the room. We talked about music. Where we want to go with it, what we want to do. We played Chess.
We fell asleep to Coheed. We woke up to the sunlight shining through the wooden sliding doors. We had the Valet get our car started, and we drove to Brix to have lunch. It was so pretty in there, too. We talked about our California trip this summer, and about beautiful things. We talked about how we notice detail about everything. And how we wished we could capture the beauty of what we see with our own eyes, with a camera. You know...when you get that perfect angle, that perfect view? It's not the same by the time you get your camera out, and get it ready to capture the beauty.
We are so amazed by each others liking for pool. We got back to Spokane, and decided to go play pool until practice. We went to MCQ's, which is pretty special to me, I used to spend many days there, many years ago. We played pool for a good 3 hours today. We had so much fun. Using the pool cues as air guitars. As big drumsticks. I loved all the silly music we selected on the jukebox. The faces we made at each other. All the times we hit the balls off the table. And all of the fans that recognized him, and came up to say how much of a talented singer he is. The table next to us was filled with middle aged, loud men. We dubbed them "pirates" because they talked like pirates. I showed you my mad Pac-Man skills. We decided we're going to have "pool nights" on..probably Monday nights. I can't wait.
We were so hyper by that point. Singing really loud, and obnoxiously in the car to Static Lullaby. Air drumming like crazy, driving to practice. We get to practice, and it's song writing night. I kept looking over at him, and he was..just...so bouncy. Smiling non-stop. So then I would smile. They wrote a really amazing song tonight. They're going to go far.
Yes, I cherish the past 2 days. I've never felt more warm. He is my everything.
