It feels so good to be back in Arizona. Don't get me wrong, I had a great time coming home and seeing everyone, but here i get to see the sun. Since getting home tuesday night I've already gone on many hikes and bikes rides. The weather has been in the mid 50's and the sun has been shinning all week. Dan, let me talk to you about vacuum cleaners for a minute, if I may:

After researching several popular brands, my husband and I decided that the Solaris was the vacuum for us. The electric wire runs inside the hose instead of out. This makes it easy to use for changing attachments; there is no wire to have to fuss with and have to plug back in. The handle is telescopic, it changes lengths by pressing a button. The horse hair floor brush that it comes with works great on hardwood floors, area rugs, and hard to reach places. We upgraded from the standard electric power head, to the power brush. It had less drag on carpet, a larger head, a light, and carpet change height with a simple press of your foot. Although I gave up the park feature that the standard head had of attaching to the machine upon storage, you are able to stand the power brush up straight for storage. With another simple manual press with your foot, it comes down. It can also come down completely flat to the floor when vacuuming. It's so quiet, you hardly can tell it's on except for the green light. The bags are smaller, yes, but they are also more efficient. The machine itself comes in black only, no color choice, but it looks really nice. It moves where ever you want it to because of three wheels on the bottom. With a little nudge you can go where you want without fighting with it, great mobility. The three standard tools hide under the top lid for easy access. The hose is crush resistant too, so you don't have to fuss with storing it a certain way. The price before tax was $799.00 and $150.00 more for the upgraded power brush SEB 236. [Bottom line, it REALLY sucks!]
