Just another day at the university...

One of my classes this semester is all about becoming a good leader. As part of the curriculum we had to participate in the school's "challenge course" and that is what I did today. We met at 9am and had ten kids being lead by two course facilitators who set up and ran team building games for us. Until 12pm we did six games that involved stamina, strategy, and strength within ourselves and within the group setting. Then we went on to the ropes course where we were strapped in to harnesses and safety ropes completing stunts 30 feet above the ground such as swinging from one rope to another, walking a balance beam, and climbing a post and then jumping off of it to a rope. It was quite an experience, we had a lot of fun and did some crazy shit.

Then I went to my business administration class and the teacher starts off by telling us that he hasn't graded our first test(taken almost 3 weeks ago) since he has yet to get a teaching aid. He says he doesn't want to do anything else except show up to class and tell stories and doesn't grade anything. His solution to the problem was to give everyone in the class an A on said test. What the hell? This is college? Not a bad way to spend the school day if you ask me.
