merry christmas everyone!
the day has come, problems have been solved, and sophie is comming after all - thank God.
the latest week was presenty-stressfull - a heinzelmaennchen did a lot of work... for example this one:
bag_1bag_2close upthough this one was more a birthday/christmas-present... but still eight hours of sewing was quiet something. yes, its a handbag. inside you can find two pen-holder-pockets, a pocket for change, and a pocket for a little bit bigger things. the design is somewhat taken from a suitcase on the gilmore girls. this was the third item i ever sewed.
today i am cleaning my flat, since my aunt and my uncle will sleep at my place, and then i will head over to my parents, with the last presents, go to a service with them, and hopefully can rejoice in giving away presents to my entire family tonite - since they are bound to come to berlin in the late afternoon (yes, we in germany have all that - and food! - on the holy eve already).
since its christmas, and i promised to poste some again... here are three more:

"Plinky, planky, plorge,
there was once an elven busdriver named George.
George van Prangton has been a good driver for many years,
which you can only tell by his white hair and flubby ears.
He has never been in an accident, nor has been late,
for he is quick in reaction, and a good mate.
He lets a young boy peek at his wheel,
so that he can learn how to handle the steel,
and how to drive a bus safely each day,
and that no person alone can have his way.
"Drive carefully", he always says to you,
"and you will reach the location you wanted to."
George will always be driving safely throughout our streets,
for he has been and will be a man with of good deeds.

"Plinky, planky, plutts,
there was once an elven taylor named Schatz.
Mister Schatz made the best suits, the best vests,
the best pants, skirts, dresses, the best corsetts.
He also made top hats, corner hats, small hats, melon hats, flat hats, and big hats,
he made all kinds of clothes - even for pets.
He made shirts that button up and button down,
once he even made a costume for a clown.
He made underwear, socks, and sweaters,
he made each and every style that matters.
He used long cuts, edgy cuts, sharp cuts, dody cuts, round cuts, and short cuts,
that and much, much more did your friend Schatz.

"Plinky, planky, pleeyain,
there was once and elven doctor named Cain.
Cain was the most talented doctor you ever met,
he could not just cure you and me, but also any pet.
When little Rose came for her yearly examination,
Cain always had an ear for questions, and an explanation.
Why the knee bends this way, why we have eyes,
why we have hair, and why they are so stupid - the guys.
Because we walk for- and not backwards in only one direction,
because we need to see and orientate in the third dimension,
because its better to have some hair than none,
and with guys... that will be in the future more fun.
When one was sick, one came directly to Cain,
he immedietly had some medicine to heal the pain,
and if not that, then he had a tip on how to ease
or how to solve the displeasure with peas.
For he said, that with peas you can solve whatever,
no problem is too big, or to small, or to clever,
and if you dont believe him, than you must try it yourself,
and, I for one, believe in Cain the doctor elf.
