i'm hungry all the time

ok.
so i'm in back boulder, and i'm adoring it.
the mountains are even more amazing then i remembered, and its a hell of alot warmer than minnesota.
i spent all last night with the girls and had alot fun, plus have big plans for the weekend. it was really good to see them
and i just finished my first day of classes.
normal classes that dont involve the BFA, and it was wonderful.
it makes me love naropa again.
i do have 9 o'clock classes almost every day, but i'm ok with it, because i did last semester too, and it gets me up. otherwise i would just sleep all day.
today: i got up, had 9 o'clock t'ai chi! which was amazing by the way.
i'm really ok with getting up early twice a week for a t'ai chi class. i cant really think of a better way to wake up except for tomorrow when i wake up for a improv dance/meditation class.
then for the first time i got to come home from class and just be in my apartment. i got to eat in my apartment, and talk to my roommate, and finish redoing my room. i had a whole 4 hours before another class.
i know that to everyone else in college this isn't a big deal at all, but after last semester is so phenomenal. i cant even explain. last semester i got up before it was light out, and came home after it was dark again, and i never got to eat at home. sooooo nice.
then i went to my second class, which was THE BEST CLASS I HAVE EVER HAD, AND possibly EVER WILL HAVE. its my dream class. its a first year seminar class (one of the 5 options) so most people are just in it to fill a credit, but its seriously my dream class.
the teacher: (to the best of my description abilities) an extremely liberal roman catholic priest whos saving the world on weekends, looks like santa, laughs jolly, references himself to a meticulous degree, makes the whole class laugh every 5 min., knows everything, is a director at the buddhist school, and guessed what town each of us were from. seriously. during roll, he asked us each where we were from, and upon hearing the state, he would tell you the town/region you were from, and how many times he has been there, and the translation of your last name in its original language. it was sooo crazy.
the class is mythopoesis, which is traditional myths and rituals from the beginning of human consciousness. maybe that doesn't sound as absolutely amazing to you as it does to me, but trust me. my dream. he even talked about how the end of this era is december 21, 2012, and how the age of aquarius should bring about an entirely different idea of consciousness and reality, possibly referred to as the apocalypse and how many cultures bring up this date, and the astronomical significance of it. is he my man or what??? how obsessed with the Apocalypse am i? very.
anyway.
boulder
and me raving about my myth class. it had to go somewhere. so why not livejournal.
and on an ending note. i am very happy i am at naropa. i can't imagine being at a different college. at all.
in case you hadn't figured that out.
