Bella's visit to the vet.
Bella did wonderfully at the vet. Did not whine, shake or bark. Was an angel. Even when the doctor gave her a rabies vaccination! She does have a type of worm in her poop, but I was told that she wasn't infested with them. We were given 3 days worth of powdered medicine to put in her food. She ate the first bowl readily this morning around 9:30am.
Today Bella got a bath! She didn't like that very much, but she was still a good girl. We thoroughly towel dried her and then used the hair dryer on low, and she wasn't crazy about that either. Then she and daddy slept on the couch while mommy did her hair and changed out of the wet-dog shirt. Soon she will go in her crate while mommy and daddy run some errands, including getting her a licence and tags.
When we get home, she will meet Bradley and Martin. Then this evening, we are going to my parents' house while they go to Euchre club. Grandma is there, so it should be oh so fun. Bella met mom & dad's dog, Thistle, a few days ago. They chased eachother around our house and were fine for about 45 minutes until my dad threw a toy. They sparred over it but no skin was broken. Therefore, tonight when we go over, all toys will be put up.
It will have been another full day for Bella so she should fall sound asleep by 10pm again.
