I'm not going to write much today about Don Lemmon. Later I will.
Don is a friend and he died in a car accident on June 16th. He was driving alone on a deserted stretch of road at night and his car flipped. Maybe he was tired.
We weren't close in the sense of hanging out together pals, yet anyway, but Don was one of the very few people that I admire and who is an inspiration to me. We were working on a project together for the past year, and a relationship developed that I loved. The truth is, I just worked on the project so I could interact with him, because he was such a blazingly powerful force for the things that I love about life and people. In many ways, I want to be like him. In many ways I am like him, which was the basis of our friendship. We were warrior-visionaries on a mission, and it was fun. Now I have to finish it on my own because I owe it to him. But the fun is gone.
