Hello people,

A few quick things:

TAGS: Please tag your entries ONLY with your username, and only if you feel inclined to do so. In a community as large as this, it makes little sense to have tags that, in all likelihood, will only be used for one or two entries. Keeping them grouped by posters' usernames will help you check out more of someone's work if you read an entry of theirs you like.

POSTING LIMIT: I had this idea, but at least one of the other moderators was pretty "meh" on it. To encourage posting from new and old members, I was thinking it might be cool to have a posting limit of something like once every 24 hours. We've got a lot of new, active members and a limit might be best in order to let people's entries stay on the first page, rather than quickly being shoved to the back. I wouldn't personally moderate other than telling someone that they should maybe calm down on the repeat posting, unless someone made an obnoxious habit of it. What do you guys think of this? Yay, nay, whatever?

"SECRET" POSTS (includes formspring): I'm not opposed to one big entry for people listing their e-mails and formspring accounts. To be honest though, I personally find "secret" posts to be a little ridiculous (and I have valid reasons for thinking so). I also realize that if I let one person post their e-mail/formspring account, everyone else will start posting theirs, and soon this community turns into a "omg do u has a ~sekret~?!" community.

Any questions or thoughts?

EDITED TO ADD:

TRIGGERING MATERIAL: A "trigger" is a piece of material that may "trigger" negative behaviors in someone. Keeping in mind that anything and everything can be a "trigger", some broad examples of triggers include: pictures of emaciated (wo)men, pictures/talk of self-harm or suicide or weight (numbers and BMI) or explicit sexual acts or "explicit" drug use, etc.

As someone who is triggered by such material, it is very important for me to not allow this kind of material to be posted out in the open. I don't want anyone to be triggered by this kind of material, but I also don't want to censor anybody. All you have to do is put something under a cut, maybe with a note that it might be "triggering."

I will allow memorial entries and things that talk of suicide in a positive manner, but writing things (even if they're not true) about how you want to kill or otherwise harm yourself will be deleted if you don't put them under a cut.
