Despite the fact it was very cold, and I didn't exactly find what I was looking for, my N.Y. trip was somewhat fun.

Lee, Chibber (my Mom), and I met my Uncle (Chibber's brother) first. We then, set off for Century 21. There, there were a lot of cool purses and this neat, pair of shoes. But I wasn't in the mood to spend $50 + on something I wouldn't wear and/or use. Too, the place was fucking PACKED! I mean, it IS New York, and-all...

We ate at this place I believe called "Peking Duck" in China Town on Mott Street. My Uncle thought their food was the greatest thing since sliced bread. We thought -- not.

Across from the restaurant was/is my FAVORITE place in China Town...

I bought a lot of Japanese sweets, there. A few, bags full, in fact. I love that store!

And that, was pretty much ... it. We took the subway back to where our bus would depart and went-on home. I felt all warm, and fuzzy inside when driving through the city.

All was bittersweet.
